Understanding patience and living it

JANU: The theme here is patience. Not the patience that is meant by so many as ‘waiting’ but the patience to allow life to unfold, to flow with its motions, its changes; the patience to embrace and engage life’s creations in their own time, in their own way, in their own pattern; the patience to understand through assimilation of experience and the application of wisdom; the patience to ‘be’ as a foundation for the doing, the creating, the living of life; the patience to enjoy and marvel at the mysteries of life; the patience to encourage another for as long as necessary but with wisdom and care, to honor their freedom to be as they choose; the patience to know a truth as it unfolds and reveals itself, according to its nature; and the patience to love oneself regardless of choices and outcomes; the patience to sense, to feel if you will, the needs of others and creatures of the Earth, Nature, and your own desires and passions; the patience to see the truth of all of these, their origin, their path, and their destiny; the patience to master more and more of life; and the patience to give what you’ve gained, freely.

Patience and True Peace go hand in hand. So patience in its fullness is deeply involved and engaged with life and in harmony with it. Patience is more than just a word. It is a way of living, and a passion for life, whatever it may be. Patience is dynamic and enduring and a vehicle of love. Be patient, our brother, and enjoy every moment of life as it reveals itself. Namaste.
