Awakening into Larger Life, The Human Condition

JANU: Resuming our current journey of understanding the human condition and its path of awakening into the larger life, we will discover and observe many elements of the human condition to better understand its path of awakening and the impact this will have on the desire for a better life than humanity has known.

The medical profession, although a mixed bag, if you will, of motivations, emotions, and commitments and accomplishments, is an indicator of this desire in humanity. As with politics in your nation, your government, the motivations to train and begin that vocation are laudable but the reality of functioning within the established medical or political community takes its toll. For a few, it strengthens the resolve that began the journey. For others, it is changed into one of power, wealth, and longevity. The reality of both professions, and others, can be confusing when viewed globally. Even in the religious circles, the churches and organizations of same, this exists for it isn’t the profession that causes this but the current stage of human awakening. For a more awakened individual, and/or organization, makes better choices for a better life.

We are here to understand that awakening influences everything in human society and consciousness. How many consider the military establishment other than designed for war, battle, and destruction, under the banner of protecting peace? This can be confusing as well for those who participate and those who support. It can fuel distrust between nations and other leaders who possess that kind of power. Even awakening, our brother, is no guarantee of wiser choices, but increases the likelihood. But for those in pain and suffering, their confusion takes a backseat, so to speak, the focus of relief from suffering, not just physical, but emotional and mental and spiritual as well.

How many in your societies feel alone in life, even while surrounded with others? So populating your immediate surroundings is not the answer. It is the inner connection with life and your own nature that brings relief. We are not suggesting here the path of inner life, awakening, is separate from the outer life, but merging the two brings a lasting victory of clarity, peace of mind, confidence in the future, and a love of life. These journeys, our brother, are to show a path of the integration of everything into a full life. Nothing lost. Everything gained. Namaste.

JANU: For this morning’s journey, let us include in our current series the condition of prayer. Much of the prayer at this time, for humanity, is conditioned to address a deity. There are several levels of understanding and reality in this.

For those of a certain awareness, because of their intention that a deity continue the reality of the deity, and their expectations of the capability of deity, of the reality of this, their prayers deepen and continue the relationship.

What of those who pray with no sense of deity, or acknowledgement of same? You ask, “Who do they pray to?” Their prayers, such as they be, render their concern and sense of need, in reality, to their own True Natures, whether understood or not. And in a very real sense, each one’s True Nature is their deity, for it is their True Nature, their total being, their authority for their life. There is some spillover from this kind of prayer to that to a deity in the sense of ‘something greater than they are aware of.’

Now, there are those who are understanding that life itself is beyond and includes all sense of deity. And the authority and the power of their prayers are in harmony with all of life. Not just manifestations of life, but the life that allows manifestation, simply eternal, universally present, all pervasive, and all knowing, for the nature of life itself is one with all of creation. What is more wise and powerful and informed than the collective of all that is?

Prayer has many forms, and all have merit. Now, what indicates, our brother, the effectiveness of any kind of prayer? What can it be other than the result, not just in manifestation but in the complex consciousness of having done so, bringing peace of mind, comfort, and a faith they are not alone in their existence, with hope and dreams and trust in a better life and a power to overcome any challenge. Therefore, our brother, prayers are always appropriate, powerful, in their own way. One form not to be judged by another. Anyone seeking help and uplift with their concerns is engaging life as they understand it. And the engagement includes reality more than they know. Every prayer serves the path of awakening into the larger life, and so it is, and so it shall be. Namaste.

JANU:   We would have you know that the real power for moving forward in life is not political but the love people have for each other and the desire for each other to succeed and to fulfill their dreams that can benefit everyone. The real power and vision to realign governments and nations lies with the people. For the insight and understanding the people are privy to is far more sweeping and powerful than the vision of most governments. The evolution of principles and peaceful desire evolves where most governments drift towards chaos, conflict, and devolution.

These are general observations, for with any cultural structure the ingredients include points of evolution. So the conflicts exist in social structures bringing about a release or apathy in many. The evolution of power and its inherent limitations for endurance will still bedazzle many so-called leaders. Let us hope that lessons are learned and the letting go or detachment of the old ways leads to a clearer vision and wiser choices.

As we point toward humanity’s potential, destiny, future, much confusion still exists as to what works and what does not. Apparent power is a noisy thing, full of bluster and manipulation, while true power is much more subtle, but far more profound and eternal in its nature, leading to the truth of life and profound creativity. When understood aright, true peace allows true power to flourish in the life, and the challenges that seem overwhelmingly powerful are seen for what they are, mastered, and left behind. And with relative ease, we might say. So many of humanity’s illnesses, maladies, are the result of a life not at peace, the struggle to achieve what seems illusive and, even when gained, is not truly fulfilling.

True peace does not bring conflict and struggles, the wasting of energies and resources, suspicions and manipulations. The results of ignorance and unawakened mind, these struggles bring destructions, mutual destructions, resulting from battles, whether at war or in business or even religion. True peace brings solutions, harmonious solutions that truly benefit everyone and open the door for the path of creativity that can be made of life. Why would anyone choose the old ways, when experiencing a life of freedom and expansion and mutually beneficial connection? Not just on the Earth, but everywhere. Life is so much larger and richer than many realize.

So find what true peace means to you, what it can be and bring, and love it into your life. A grand way to serve others and build a future. Namaste.

Awakening into Larger Life

JANU: The element of discussion this evening has to do with the propensity of humanity to agree with the so-called authorities of the moment. Witness the political scene prior to elections. Many of the claims made are somewhat outrageous when viewed from the larger perspective. You ask, “Why is it then that humanity has a tendency to follow authorities without close examination?” There is a malaise in humanity. It is easier to follow others than think for yourself and process your life experience for its wisdom, gaining insight, and discovering what lives inside you.

Can you really say that one party or another is motivated primarily by the needs of the people? They have created a system that requires vast sums of money to be influential. Can one with a pure heart and a wise view of life maintain these qualities and succeed in politics? The system is powerful indeed to control this. The real power in society, although not yet fully used or developed, is the hearts and minds of the people.

The True Nature of individuals can still find expression in the complexities of human society. And this is a function of the clarity of desire and commitment to a better life that supports freedom to be, creativity, and a love-filled life. We of the Brotherhoods of Light have long known this and supported this in other societies, not only on the Earth but on other worlds as well. The issues of the day on Earth, for humanity, seem countless and overwhelming to achieve anything of this nature. The solutions, our brother, compared to the challenges, the issues, are always straightforward and have the flavor of profound simplicity.

The current condition of humanity includes the politics of the day but, while complying with the rules of society, temper them with a loving heart, an enquiring mind, true peace, and a love of the truth that lives within you, and who you are. Insights will come. Act on them. Test them for their merit. And be grateful for the opportunity to find peace. Namaste.

JANU:  We are noticing that political tension in human consciousness is softening, even in other nations for their concern is for the influence American politics has on their economies. These cycles of worldwide tensions and concerns are a dynamic force, for this contributes to a lack of peace and certainty. Ideally, the next phase is reconciliation and cooperation for the benefit of people. Not always the case, you see. Politics aside, let us focus our attention upon the structures for living successful and happy lives unconditioned by politics and its vagaries.

JANU: We are examining as such the nuances of being preoccupied with the uncertainty of life and investing in it. Uncertainty is perpetuated by a lack of awareness of the depth, richness, and presence of life itself, for all the possible outcomes of any life expression are still a part of, and known by, aspects of life that are ongoing. When one can perceive and appreciate the eternal nature of life, uncertainty takes a backseat to the certainty that life will continue. How many worry needlessly as to the outcome of tomorrow, or next year, or ten years, whatever? How long will the Earth last? Where will humanity be? Will I die tomorrow?

The larger awareness of life understands that you may leave the body tomorrow, but you will not die. Life goes on and your journey will not end. Even if the Earth ended tomorrow, your journey will move on. Life moves on, has endless alternatives and opportunities. So why spend so much of your attention and energy and focus and planning on something so transitory, and not the life that continues on, always, bringing new adventures, new opportunities, deeper understandings?

Now even in the moment of uncertainty as to the smaller things in life, the more immediate, there are always solutions. Life is not unmindful of the minutia as well and, being an eternal being, there is cause to have faith in this and be at peace always. For in peace the solutions are clear, the choices are wise, the outcomes are worthwhile, and the vision clears, and the health remains.

When life flows freely through your existence, your resources to resolve issues become deeper and stronger. Be clear in your deliberations, trust in the outcomes, and allow life to unfold while you are committing to a conviction in the true power of your values, your integrity, your truthfulness in what you do. When you’ve tried to manipulate, be in denial, misinform others, and lie to yourself, the flow of life through yours gets confused and that is where the uncertainty comes from, our brother.

Micro-managing the life that you are and around you does not allow the wisdom of life to flow with you. Walk quietly. Listen carefully. Speak what you know to be true, from your integrity. Love yourself and others. Be at peace, and your life will flow more smoothly. Namaste, our brother.

JANU: Rich indeed is the journey of awakening and this is the journey humanity is embarked upon. Now, what do we mean by rich? While incarnate, most of humanity passes through life with the results of social consciousness and all of the perceptions and misconceptions and unclear philosophies and understanding of the causes of all the experiences, much less the nature of life. So, the richness we speak of is in the form of deepening understanding, a growing mastership of doubts and fears, so-called missteps, conflicts, challenges. Not that these shouldn’t exist in the life, but the power and clarity to understand them, their source and resolution, and the joy and peace of a growing confidence of mastering one’s environment and destiny.

Freedom, our brother, is the freedom to be not free of these experiences but free to own them and not be owned by them, to progress and move further along the path of life, not restricted by these experiences but stronger for them and the wisdom gained. Incarnate life is rich with so many opportunities to gain the freedom we speak of. Incarnation is not punishment or a dismal existence. None of that is required, but it is an opportunity to grow and master your life and share that achievement in a way that inspires others to claim their True Power.

A growing clarity of the view of the larger life, of which incarnation is only a part, is so liberating. Realize you are a partner in the larger movement of life with no true secrets. Secrets are an illusion. You are life. And you always know your thoughts, your dreams and ambitions, so how can they not be known? The life that you are knows, and that life is one with all of life. So, you see there is no need for denial and the playing of any games, with yourself or anyone else. There is nothing more powerful than the truth that you live. Many will try to take advantage of this. Let them, for in the long run their deceptions will not profit them. But your light grows by living it and honoring it. And you become stronger and more in harmony with the flow of life than any cleverness or deception.

Build your integrity, honor it, and live it. Have confidence in a growing intimate relationship with the all-powerful flow of life. Others who are open to their own truth, their own True Nature, will sense this in you and you will realize your growing reality of brotherhood. We are not speaking of gender here, but human consciousness and caring for each other. Be loving in your counsel with others, guided always by the wisdom within your nature, and sensitivity to the best needs for others will deepen.

Remember, micro-managing your affairs does not speak of a partnership with life and the miraculous outcomes that brings. We are not speaking of giving away your power but that your true power is all that you are and the life of which you are a part. Consider these things and namaste.

JANU: We are engaged in, if you will, the inspiring of human consciousness into a larger life. All of life benefits with this awakening of humanity.

Humanity has to realize the breadth and depth of its connection with the larger life, which includes other realities, other beings, and other worlds. The connection already exists, so the awakening is embracing consciously the larger life that has always been, changing, of course, as realizations occur. So-called religion is an attempt to awaken humanity to this reality but, being created by humanity, gets misinterpreted. Then human motives and desires and misinterpretations set in and the larger purpose becomes unknown to humanity. Yet the frustration and dissatisfaction with religion as it exists at this time grows deeper. The larger life existed, our brother, long before the religions of the Earth.

So what do you place your faith in? Your beliefs are focused upon what? Have faith in and believe in the truth of life, our brother, for it has existed for so long, in realities you are not aware of yet, successfully and you exist as an expression of that life.

Love beyond current understanding holds this life in existence. Through the journey within, life is revealed and understood and served, but the so-called outer life, our brother, is of the same life. But the one without the other leads to misunderstanding, confusion. And the cycles of understanding repeat, and those of misunderstanding as well.

Incarnation, our brother, is for the purpose of fulfilling potential and destiny and enriching life. Seeing what goes on around you can be seen and understood more deeply when the inner and the outer life are one. Namaste, our brother.

Mastership

JANU: For some, mastership denotes an achievement of complete mastery, a final threshold. It is not. Mastership occurs each day, with significant victories, ownership of some part of life, the life’s experience, whether it be conduct or understanding or well-being or loving another.

Mastership is a continuous process, a growing experience, a constantly rewarding part of life. And one does not achieve any mastership in isolation, for the fruits of each achievement are known by life and observed and experienced by others. Confidence in a path of achievement is supported by others with similar accomplishments, and these encourage each other to achieve more. Mastership is a collective reality, not just individual.

And it is not a final threshold, but the evolution of life. When one overcomes an obstacle, a challenge in life and understands it, and owns their role in it, the sense of accomplishment that ensues is from that journey into mastership. Mastership is not some far away, distant, impossible achievement for some other time and place or reality. It is every moment of every day. The experience of mastership resides in every nuance of life, every opportunity. And each victory in this, in any area of living, can be revisited and developed further.

In a very real way, mastership does not yield power over others. It enables a deeper service to others and to life, for the road of mastership is the road of oneness, the path of union enriched with countless moments of achievement, demonstrated through living. Mastership honors you and all of life. Life’s investment in your existence is rewarded and expanded. Remember that your joy in these victories is life’s experience as well, for you are life. Once again, another steppingstone on the path of awakening into the larger life.

JANU: Ponder then, if you will, the changes in store for humanity during this transition. The perceived need to fear each other and insane behaviors slowly diminish allowing trust to ensue and more openness, mutual support, and understanding, a more generous nature fearing less of personal loss and more of satisfaction in the benefit of another. This results in fewer and fewer living in desperation, feeling that justifies stealing from others to survive. When they learn that making their needs known brings others to their rescue, converting them from ‘takers to survive’ to ‘givers to survive.’

The Human Condition

JANU: We are forming conclusions as to effective additions to human consciousness on its path of awakening. Once such addition would be the formation of groups of individuals with first hand experience and memories of connecting with the larger life to any degree. This group would not form or broadcast criticisms of their current human consciousness, for they would still be learning as well. Of course, individual and collective observation is subject to reasonableness and screening as to bias. But they would lovingly support with profound patience and understanding those who wish to develop into a larger consciousness, respecting countless different perceptions of experiences. For even those who share their insights and experiences are still evolving into deeper and broader understanding of the truth of life, so no point of view or perception is seen as the whole story, so to speak, but a glimpse and a possibility.

In this way, humanity owns its progress and grows as it may, not depending solely upon insights from spirit or other sources. The path to enlightenment must be rooted in one’s integrity, reasonableness, and true nature. Now, this does not suggest that humanity is standing still, but we all exist, our brother, to help each other in a proper way.

So, understanding the human condition and what it is capable of is a worthy adventure. Human consciousness is in the possession of memories and experience, patterns of existence richer than its current understanding. So part of the path of awakening, our brother, is remembering, bringing profound memories to the surface in a perfect way.

The human condition, or awareness of it, is known by many not of the Earth so the struggles and the victories are not a secret to the larger life. And elements of the larger life are responding, providing wise service to the human journey, with patience and care. The family of life is worth knowing, our brother, a long-standing tradition of life in motion with a foundation of love and patience. Thank you, our brother, and namaste.
