JANU: Enlightenment, our brother, is always useful. Insights that occur in the lives of many speak to the living presence of their larger consciousness, their True Nature. Even with the veil, the presence of the True Nature remains. More so than many realize. Superficial consciousness becomes dominant with the veil in place. But even with this, the life is not devoid of fundamental truth born of the need of the moment, the desire of the heart, concern for another, and moments of love. Presence remains. The veil does not change this. In time, it is possible to see beyond the veil and the beauty of life that surrounds you and fills you. For the life that surrounds you is a creation and the nature of creation is life itself, the common element that connects everything. Do not see materiality as an inert or dead thing, you see. It is vibrant with life, evidence of the living presence of even your own True Nature.

You ask, “What does co-creation mean? What is the reality of being a co-creator?” The thrust to live, to create, to manifest, to experience, to understand, to contribute, to share is a co-creator. Not limited to the human being, you see, but any measure of consciousness that can respond to the presence of life. How does life itself, then, continue, evolve, and expand without a consciousness that can co-create, always present in each life? What then would you create, our brother, in coming aware of this? Whatever you are drawn to realize through your interest, your compassion, your nature. Creation that has inherent within it more creation.

Creating includes far more than materialization, by patterns of energy, qualities of being, living patterns of essential nature. Mastering the flow of your life, choosing unfoldment rather than just waiting for it. Good health is a choice, not an accident. Thank you, our brother, and namaste.

JANU: The subject this evening has to do with the veil, as requested. Now, the origin of this, in the human experience, comes not only from the wisdom of the True Nature but those patterns of creation for the human journey, a contract of sorts between incarnating consciousness and the tradition of protocols for human incarnation. The reason for this has been stated more than once, having to do with focus and non-interference with gaining wisdom through service and experience while incarnate, without the distraction of larger realities that co-exist.

Now, the overcoming of the veil while incarnate has to do with protocols again. They being those that guide the consciousness while engaged in relationships and endeavors that call for greater insights and inspiration, not through aloof positioning in life, but direct engagement. These protocols are known through the True Nature, but the human tendency to propose striking bargains to gain advantage does not operate here. The truth of motivation, desire, and attitude are known, even as they form. As we have said before, there are no secrets. Freedom comes through service, our brother, with a giving nature and a love for life, the basic tenets of the flow of life.

Once again, understand this as process, not instantaneous change. You already live beyond the veil, for you are your True Nature, which is fully conscious. Continue to serve, learn, grow, gain wisdom, and engage more and more of life. The process of awakening continues. There is balance, order, and symmetry in the process of life. Embrace it. It has opportunity beyond your imagination, waiting for you to engage and become one with. Namaste.

JANU: We are aware of the interest in getting to know the reality of your True Nature. This begins with being open to the core of your consciousness, opening to the deepest within you, to the presence of your identity, the true nature of your concerns and desires, hopes and dreams, and ‘wonderments’ about life.

There is a beginning sense that there is within you: understanding; profound peace; a love difficult to put into words; permanence as to origin and destiny; and limitlessness; a truth within you that cannot be contained; a genius for being; the home you once knew and explored life as; the richness that keeps growing and deepening; patience that transcends all urgency; freedom to experience everything; a sense of being not limited to any concept; eternity, a concept with no meaning for time and space are shadows.

Whatever interests you, life reveals it. And every being that you become aware of is as a universe of discovery. Dwell in this and find peace in the sanity of it all. Namaste.

This is a question received from an individual, responded to by Janu and the Brotherhood of Light, and presented here to provide a more personal connection to these journeys. The response given is directed to that particular individual, and is presented for research purposes only.

Q: I feel that I should be doing more, that I should be more definitely in service to others, but I don’t know what the “more” is. Should I be offering some kind of service, such as teaching or counseling? Or is my “mission” to be a White Magician?

JANU: We hear your searching, your looking, your longing for a focus of direction to install or invest your energies and that you’ve gained into. Your options are many, dear one, and they are options. Even, as you might put it, the most rewarding choice is an option like the rest.

The best service, the most rewarding, is the consciousness that you put into any endeavor to help another, to advance the cause of human understanding and evolvement in consciousness, you see. The richness, the fulfillment and the rewards are born of your own beingness. The form of the expression matters little compared to this. The beauty of the understanding is that any choice can and will be the best choice. And where is it written that only one choice is the best choice, dear one? The adventures you have specified are not exclusive of each other. Nothing is exclusive.

Many ponder this question in dismay for they seldom find the answer posed by the question or intent of same. For they think the answer lies in the chosen path of service. It does not. It lies within you. You bring the life to, the beauty, the wisdom, the unfoldment, to the path choice, you see. You make it magical and rewarding and a blessing to those you serve. Yes, the challenges and opportunities vary from one choice to another. But these differences aren’t the magic, they are only varied opportunities, options. You will bring life to them all. The full force of the support of life is yours in any of your choices. They are not available more in one than another.

The best choice, dear one, is the one in front of you. The one most immediate and at hand. And if others appear in similar fashion they are your choice as well. Not necessarily one at a time. All service, all paths have beauty and support and blessing and enrich both the server and the one served. Have no preference. The preference is a distraction and an illusion, comparing one over another in this way. Structured service in what you call forms or types can be an illusion and a distraction as well, for your greatest service today may be to serve the understanding of another solely through concern and caring and counsel or just lightening the burden a little. But lightening it with wisdom and insight and the benefits of your life’s understanding and experience. Not that they see your enlightenment, dear one, but find joy in the burden lifting that they see more clearly now.

Every day is filled with opportunities of service that do not require the hanging of a shingle, so to speak, the declaration of “I am this or that qualified servant…this is my service,” you see, to be noticed. ‘Tis not the way of the master, dear one. It is and can be a glamour. You understand this, we know. For you are well trained and well versed in these areas of understanding. as the phrase goes, what you do with the little things is the measure of your character and your vision and your service. Be not concerned whether the larger things will be added; they will be. Life is mindful of all of its elements and its realities.

This we have spoken of today you already know. It is only offered as a reminder and encouragement. You have known these things for eons of time. The time has come to see yourself in a larger way. Unlimited in perception, capacity, and the ability to deliver that needed in any situation or opportunity of service. Perceive yourself and embrace your larger reality. Leave behind this old pattern and shell of limitation. Your spirit is grand indeed. Leave behind the old patterns. They serve you no longer. Step into now the light and the grace of your beauty. This done with dignity, humility centered in peace, yes, and even pure being. Attainable, dear one, for these realities you already are and have been ere so long.

Your service will not be pigeon-holed into one form or another. It will not work for you. It is not your nature. It is not your memory or your historical pattern. You are universal being and your service is universally adaptable to the moment. Be an example of this for others as the time arrives for them to leave their limiting patterns behind, the ones they have outgrown. Show them there is a larger way with greater freedom and joy.

We gently enfold you and support this reality for you. Service, yes, dear one, but with new and larger understanding for that is the service that is needed in this time of change, this movement into new ways. Leave behind self doubt. Define and identify limited thought and perception and deal with it successfully. Your victory in this way speaks well of the movement of human consciousness on the path that lies just ahead for humanity. Humility does not mean minimizing the reality of who you are and your contribution to life. Humility speaks more of being in harmony with the flow.

We are the Brotherhood of Light, saluting you and honoring your inquiry and your journey. You are loved without ever a pause. Namaste, dear one. Janu and the Brotherhood of Light speaking as one once again.

Q: Am I making advances spiritually and where is this leading me and what will I be doing?

JANU: This brother you speak of is embracing his spirituality in a way that he finds comfortable but, as with all who seek, there is the urge for more and the wonder of what that more will bring. The more, then, for this one is in the areas he chooses but more in the direction of a deeper grasp and insight into the meaning and purpose of the expressions in his fields of choice. His strengths are compounded when a natural flow of expression finds feedback in gratification and joy of fulfillment or completion, fruitful result to his spirit, his soul, if you will. As expressed previously in other terms, this activity, this reality can be an ingredient in the inspiration of another’s successful journey, you see, spiritual advancement, reward to the soul. For all creative expression born of and in harmony with the thrust for the life of each one has its place or role in life’s plan for another.

Know this to be so, for your journey, dear one, is not for you alone. Your reward is not for you alone. You might well look upon it in this way, service being the key, that your choices truly serve the understanding, the uplift, the consciousness of others. Bring reward to all involved. There is the balance to be understood and sought.

The form matters little, dear one. The intent and the consciousness matters a great deal. Your talents are not limited to one form of expression, as you well know. So your question is not too much best served in the direction of where will your advancing spirituality lead you but what will it accomplish when you get there. The intent and the motive shows the way and brings the pattern of recognition for opportunity for expression in possible forms of endeavor. Determine first the quality and nature of your outreach in service through your creative ability and find the forms that provide the opportunity. Life is vast and rich with varied opportunity. Your specialty, if you choose the term, is the quality and nature of the reason for your effort and your expression.

This understanding, this forward view, this magical pattern of life lives within you and has been built through the nature of who you are in the larger reality. This is your best counsel, for this counsel is with you always, and is you. You shaped your thrust for life and its purpose and meaning. Even though another may describe it from their perspective, your fulfillment, your victory, your completeness in the life and in the Light is when you, the outer you, rejoins this reality. The creative avenues for flow within your being, that you access as you will, are the avenues for access to this deeper and larger understanding and true nature. Use them for this understanding, not just for creative expression, you see.

Our goal, our service to life, is to encourage and inspire you in this way never seeking your dependency on this source. It is time for the many to realize and access their true being where the answers to their many questions reside. When you feel the need for encouragement in this direction we are happy to comply. The details offered at times are to encourage in you the acceptance of the reality that the inner holds the solutions you seek. And once confidence is gained to guide you to your truth within you. Your question stimulates the path of connection to the answer. We encourage you to have confidence and knowingness of not only this connection’s reality but its nearness and its availability.

Yes, dear one, you are advancing spiritually. What form of expression will ensue is up to you, guided by your true nature. Follow your intuitions and honor them in that way. Acting out those subtle moments of insight and knowingness builds the bridge, opens the way. Do this at every opportunity and be an inspiration for others in their search for victory. Be confident, dear one, in your choices and when the moment comes, that spark of knowingness, that glimpse into your potential and your reason for expression, leave the doubts behind and get on with it in joy, bringing reward to those lives you touch and your own true being. JANU: Let us survey the obstacles to awakening, most of which are self-imposed, for reason. Others are occasions of living the incarnate life: social pressures, the demands; timing of opportunities and challenges; awareness of possibilities; lack of courage, energy, and commitment. All of these can be overcome, for a more awakened state can be achieved in the midst of a challenge by application and desire. As far as self-imposed reasons go, the timing of the True Nature, based on achievements, is sacrosanct. But these reasons are always in your best interest, serving you and life itself, for the human journey has a purpose, as do you.

The challenges and the obstacles, if you would call them that, are part of the journey. They come with the territory, so to speak. They strengthen your wisdom, your resolve, and your capacities to embrace life. We’re not suggesting to prefer obstacles, but the mastership of them. The fundamental question here is: “What do you desire?” In time, more and more, the human you and your True Nature speak with one voice, clarity ensues, confusion gives way to purpose and meaning.

The larger life has challenges as well, our brother, but of a different order. But the isolation of the human experience, due to the veil, in the sense of isolation or separation, make the connection with the larger life seem obscure if non-existence. But ignorance is the theme here. The purpose of these journeys is to lessen this, give you a working premise to awaken to something more, returning to the state of being that has always been who you are.

The obstacles to awakening have never been permanent or fixed. Not remembering your awakened state does not deny its existence. Your human journey is very temporary. Make the most of it, whether conscious or not, but enhance your opportunities as you may through awakening. Namaste.

JANU: This session on awakening speaks of, has to do with the fundamental experience of letting go of the darkness, the ignorance, and the confusion of living. Slowly sensing an increase in alertness, a sense of presence of a larger reality. In time, the sense of the presence of others. A kind of warmth throughout the body. A growing peacefulness and wakefulness.

A growing freedom to choose what your life includes, and what you choose is just right for the moment. Social standards no longer being the authority for your choices, but the truth and the love from the wisdom within you, much older than society, is becoming more and more your reason for your choices. For this rediscovered freedom responds to a greater clarity in your choices.

Physical space/time limitations no longer limit your interests and your explorations of this universe, or any other. You can touch, embrace the whole of it or any part. And that’s just the beginning. The smallest element is as real and present as the largest reality.

Embrace new experiences and realities, new existences, without being compared to current perceptions. New understandings without resemblance to any other. And that all of the laws of science and of life are mutable. That all cycles of life and creation have beginning and end, and the potential for change. And that your True Nature, the life that you truly are, has been and will be ongoing. And that you truly are more than a human being. Allow yourself to experience awakening that is continuous and life fulfilling. Namaste.

JANU: For today’s journey, let us review what is to come. The elements of awakening in this series have to do with a sense of belonging to, being part of, included in the Family of Life. This family is vast and deep, not just in the physical reality with those of similar interest and ability, but in many other realities as well where consciousness exists in harmony with the flow of life. Participating in such a way is not the loss of identity, but the expansion of identity, identifying with more of who and what you are and can be, as well as the essential nature of others and their desire for being part of a larger life.

This pursuit is a course taken for the life that is in you and that you are to grow, expand, and discover. No matter the degree, most everyone wants to understand more, experience more, absorb opportunities, not only enrich their own lives but help enrich the lives of others. Receiving the joys of living and sharing those joys is part of the flow nature of life, you see, the giving and taking. Or should we say: the taking and giving? They are one and the same thing, both sides of the same coin.

The Family of Life does not concern you and your identity. It is more sharing mutual benefit with no loss of integrity. The mystery and the wonder and awe of this is the countless outcomes. What does life turn into? A measure of decision making, choosing this or that, but the outcomes of those choices are still a wonder and a miracle. The Family of Life gives you purpose, a larger identity, and the ability to perceive grand opportunities to even recognize their existence. Enlightened, awakened Family of Life is an experience on the move, renewing, refreshing, and reviewing.

Awakening provides opportunity for incarnate families to grow together in creative ways, with love constantly taking on new meaning. A cooperation of individuality, freedom, but growing together, sharing each other’s strengths, supporting each other’s challenges. Some are fearful of allowing their lives to include others, for the challenges of this are unknown, unpredictable. So build the foundation to proceed on. What are you comfortable with? What is the nature of your relationship with yourself and with others? Be true to that, even if it is evolving as well. As you open to the larger life, allow evolution of consciousness, experience, wisdom, and love. Namaste.

JANU: The awakening of humanity serves life in a significant way. It brings about, or triggers, is a catalyst for changes. Patterns of consciousness, living, and behavior of humanity are soon to run their course. Awakening opens the door of opportunities to many changes. The patterns of existence are in motion. The ones subject to time and space are in play. The ones that are not will be discovered, for awakening opens the human consciousness to the subtler and larger life.

As we have said before, awakening is a diverse reality determined by many nuances in the human psyche and motivations. Embracing change is a scary adventure for some who hang on to the seeming security of the status quo. That security is an illusion, our brother. Awakening sensitizes the consciousness to the changes that always continue, whether noticed or not. So embracing change, being open to it and more, is another key to awakening.

The ladder of life has many rungs; each rung representing conditions. Letting go of one to embrace the next calls for changes in consciousness, founded in commitment, desire, and faith in the miracles of life. Changing your identity from being human to being something more, much more, is a natural change that brings greater freedom, peace of mind, happiness, and a larger capacity and understanding of love. The more you are aware of who you truly are, the easier it is to love yourself and be in awe.

So what in your life are you ready to allow to change? Values? Relationships with other people, with materiality, with lifestyle, and the world you live on? Philosophies, points of view, perceptions, belief systems? And truth itself, or at least your perception of it? Awakening, our brother, changes everything. Change becomes your new security, your new constant. Even truth is evolving, expanding. Adapting to and embracing change is part of this.

Enjoy the journey. Marvel at the seeming miracles that life has in store. Be at peace with life in motion. Namaste.

JANU: We are celebrating, if you will, each moment of opportunity to bring Light into the world of human consciousness. The Light we shine today has to do with stability of focus into innate nature.

The human journey was cast to be a precursor to a larger journey of creativity. When one sees only the seeming endless circles of human struggle, missteps, distrust, and greed, the vision for the larger life becomes obscure. Each would do well to refocus their lives, their attention on something greater than themselves, not imagined but real. And the reality, our brother, is the True Nature and its connection to everything.

Life is a community, a family if you prefer, of spirit beings, consciousnesses, ‘love centers’ if you will, for life is a loving reality without judgment, condemnation, favoritism, competition. It is a collaborative reality, living to encourage, to support all of its elements. Humanity has become fragmented and lost sight of the richness of such a life. Happiness is enhanced by the happiness of others. Choose what you would enrich life with and it will make you rich in unlimited ways.

Joy and happiness are the keys to creativity. A misguided life that finds refuge in leaving it can only find true peace in their True Nature. As you do, you understand that reality in others, drawing together in the truth of this. Just two individuals, reaching for this truth, committed to each other’s success, unlock their creativity. The phrase “when two or more are gathered” in the name of this, the Divine within. Life opens to their imagination, their creativity, their example. Be in agreement with someone, finding the truth within and through that reality the larger life. Larger than you can imagine, older than time, not limited to materiality, powerful beyond the popular meaning of the word.

This does not take the place of incarnate life, but fulfills it as it becomes a pure joy in its rewards. The Truth of Life brings together in one understanding the confusions of living without it. There comes a time in each one’s life when the thought occurs “Enough is enough. I know there is more to this and I choose to embrace it.” One of the marks of someone achieving this is their happiness, their peace of mind, and their brilliance of insight and understanding. This is everyone’s birthright and has always been available.

Be part of the illusion of the human experience in a more enlightened way. See the truth behind the truth behind the truth. Insight is ‘inner sight,’ our brother. Choose to see. The only limitation is what you impose. Choose life without limit, being free to embrace it. Namaste.
