JANU: We are examining the possibility of providing comfort and some security through peace of mind to world leaders. Their inspiration of their people is significant. We cannot say with certainty that this will prevail everywhere, but it is a worthy challenge and opportunity for the advancement of human consciousness and society.

What we see at this point belongs to the organization of those skilled in diplomacy and leadership founded in the principles of integrity. We have seen this challenge looming for some time and, as we have said before, challenges are opportunities to excel. Most leaders of the world have a common theme in their motivations, that is the viability and growth of their nations and their people. Building a strong alliance between national leaders of common purpose is what we endeavor to achieve, with their agreements.

So let us put our attention upon integrity and leadership, insight and purpose, and encouraging each other, realizing with vision that this path of consciousness raising and evolution is what helps guarantee the future of humanity. This vision is what’s needed, puts resources to common benefit and reduces waste and counterproductive conflicts. As each one achieves, confidence builds, insight is gained, creativity encouraged. Let the true power of peace on Earth prevail. Namaste, our brother.

JANU: We are elaborating on the subject of the awakening process as pertains to social consciousness. Society is an interesting concept, for it includes relationships, not only externally between each other, but internally within the nature of the being. In similar fashion, our brother, these descriptors have their counterpart in our relationships as well. We are not all the same. As with humanity, diversity is a strength. Diversity in all of life makes life strong, endurable, and evolutionarily successful.

But human diversity while incarnate is a complex matter. Many elements of diversity do not survive in the human social reality, by reason of not being understood or relateable. How many new genius thoughts, unique, find their place in society? And how many do not? But for those with the larger view, there is plenty of time and opportunity for these new ideas to find fertile ground and to prosper. Even within those groups, those professions that endeavor to embrace new concepts, there are those with social traditional values that are reluctant to embrace an idea they do not understand yet.

Envision a society, then, that gives fair consideration to all new ideas, whether for current or future application. When an old idea seems to still be working effectively, why change it? Because life evolves, no matter the idea. Not all new ideas are easy transitions of change, for return on investment in traditions weighs heavily upon moving on. The awakening consciousness more easily sees past this—or should we say, through it—for it can project changes into future possibilities that are grander, more profound, and productive.

Difficult challenges for the incarnate human mind, but consider carefully a growing flexibility in your consciousness. When someone’s view seems to challenge your own, be patient and listen carefully. Understand greatly the flow of life and move with it. Namaste, our brother.

JANU: Relegated to the whims of the past, human society had enveloped itself with many traditions that delay or block some patterns of awakening. In the challenges coming, we see many of those patterns manifesting directions of consciousness, traditions of isolation, exclusivity, and disconnect from oneness and the consciousness of the Now. The path of awakening, our brother, is not an easy ride when one chooses to prefer traditional thinking and behavior over a fresh look at life and freedom. The veil continues to promote or provide an atmosphere of separation and isolation, fearing the loss of traditions and comfort, providing the illusion of peace and security but without much change.

The times to come will challenge these greatly, so what does one hang onto then, as a core reality in maintaining sanity and an enduring perspective that is open to the larger life? As always, our brother, a central theme of awakening is the merging of the human consciousness identity with that of the larger life, the True Nature. That sanity, that clarity of understanding transcends the human experience.

Familiarity and the sense of security from tradition is a comfort zone, predictable, with no surprises. But many challenges, our brother, to engaging the larger reality of life are finding peace of mind and a sense of security in the ancient traditions of life in motion. These traditions are not locked in place, but are growing, encompassing more and more, as is who you are. The more one ventures into the larger Truth of Life, the more they gain confidence in a different kind of tradition, of life in motion through change, with richer outcomes and deeper understanding and the veil drops away.

A valid question for the seeker after the larger life is: What is the basis of your sense of peace and security? What is its reality? Can it be easily taken away or interfered with? And, if so, what replaces it? Or why do you need that in the first place? Difficult questions, our brother. Challenging, but liberating. Namaste.

JANU: Sheltering humanity from challenges does not promote awakening. Encouraging insight, survival, motivation, engagement of challenges, the wisdom to proceed, strength of commitment, the confidence in one’s own nature. These are parts of awakening, our brother.

Sovereignty is a foundation for keeping on and overcoming. The words are easy; the commitments take strength, insight, understanding, wisdom. Not shrinking from personal responsibilities and group cooperation have their rewards. No matter the outcomes, always looking for—anticipating—renewal, new opportunities, and being part of life itself, with its unlimited resolve and resource.

Focus upon what you know to do, what you understand. Be at peace with the knowledge that life continues. Be open to joy wherever you find it. Create it whenever you may. Always be about your capabilities and support each other. We of the Brotherhoods of Light are always connected, present, ready to assist where we may. Overcome hopelessness in the face of everything. Feel strong, resilient, and connected. Namaste.

JANU: We are speaking to, if you will, the proliferation of and dissemination of aggressive tendencies in the political arena. These attitudes and motivations speak of times of change, not so much the focus of the aggressiveness but the timing and amount of it. Balance includes a consideration of extremes. Aggressive tendencies come from frustrations and repressions. The conflicts in the world at this time stem from this.

A balanced approach to life takes into account the extremes of life, balancing their influence and patterns of existence to work together for the middle way that is more powerful but not separate from the extremes of life. A balanced view considers the entirety as components of collective reality with the inherent strength to embrace or engage life’s many challenges. The mind that only sees or understands one thing versus another does not grasp this easily. The balanced view sees the reality of everything and models these into a workable collective.

The leadership of your country is waiting for this, but not understanding how to achieve it. Your two party system is drifting away from this balanced view and needs a leader who can recapture it. That is the vision we speak of here, for someone who is coming, but not here yet, not in the forefront. This coming one may elect to be a leader openly or work behind the scenes to redirect and inspire those leaders who are open to a wiser view. Yet remains to be seen, but either course is what’s needed. This one is not against the extremes of life, but coordinates, collaborates, includes the contributory strength of all factions.

This will move humanity forward, losing nothing of its inherent strengths and abilities, creative genius, commitments and endurance, and loving nature, but gaining so much more. For as humanity reaches beyond its world, the opportunities and challenges are great and many. Preparation for the future is what we speak of here. This is not the only world or species struggling with this. Much to learn from each other through experience. The awakening of humanity includes this purpose and scenario as well, becoming more and more aware, more conscious of the realities of life, its potential and destiny. Namaste.

JANU: Yes, greetings. We are Janu speaking, summing up, if you will, recent events, being the drought you are experiencing, the presidential election, and the consciousness movement with their challenge

What they all speak to, our brother, is change from complacency to life in motion. The politics of this nation will remain unsettled and in the long run the nation will be stronger for it. But not smooth sailing, you see. Everyone involved has much to learn and to experience to become wiser, for what lies beyond this government calls for expertise and adaptability. Your current drought has obvious challenges.

More and more the challenges across the nation will call upon everyone to sacrifice and support and be creative. The playing field is not level, but it can move in that direction. Isolationism is not the key. Thoughtful engagement is.

Be aware of developments. Consider them carefully but with peaceful mind and heart, balanced within a larger view. The insights will come, the visions, the strength, the courage, and a peaceful strength confident in the future and the ability to see the direction of developments insightfully. These journeys can assist you, but the decisions are yours. Carry on with what you understand, anticipating changes that are useful. Namaste.

JANU: With the upheavals and turmoil of the day, politics notwithstanding, we encourage humanity to take the larger view. The upheavals are the smallest part of the larger picture. Perspective is what’s called for here, and that comes from seeing the bigger picture and placing upheavals in their temporary and smaller roles. Being at peace comes from being at one with that which is at peace. In the collective of life, the larger truth lives in peace and sees everything. So, as you view an upheaval in the life, in the microcosm of life, see it with a larger view. Draw on the power of that truth, not only to see solutions but to make the changes needed to cope with everything.

The term ‘peace’ does not whitewash anything, but is at the root of everything. It is true power and places uncertainties in clear perspective. Be at peace by being one with what peace is, the power of the Light which is the Truth of Life. Attune to its presence throughout your being, revealing who you are. Namaste, our brother. Be at peace.

Awakening: a series

JANU:  We are dealing with endurance and commitment to the awakening journey. Endurance because there are, in fact, challenges to awakening. The ability to concentrate, focus, to build on and develop momentums, to open to new understandings not based upon structures of the old ones, the challenge to merge the experiences of awakening into the daily life and its structures.

Yes, our brother, there are times when pauses are needed to rest, not be overwhelmed by so much to learn and accomplish. Some of this comes from pushing too hard. The mind is the doer and it’s easy to forget the naturalness of just being, without timetables for achievement or empirical pursuit. Resting from time to time is not a departure from commitment and momentums. Gentleness in awakening, without comparisons, allows for rejuvenation and enthusiasm to return.

You are not required to accomplish any of these things. Encouraged when interest and desire is there, yes. The demands, requirements, are self-imposed. Loving an experience into your life has a natural peacefulness and even a seeming randomness that your consciousness finds agreeable. Think beyond time/space. It is more allowing than creating awakening. Pushing makes it more difficult.

Allow your consciousness to be who you truly are. Everything is as it should be. Namaste, our brother.

JANU: We are addressing, if you will, that which comes to the fear of awakening, which restricts the experience and can eliminate it temporarily. You ask, “Why would one fear to awaken?” The uncertainty of the unknown, the challenge to current preferences of understanding and relationship, the identity of self as human being of one gender or another, or profession, you see. Comfortable companions on the journey of incarnate life, they give a sense of security, permanence, stability, what to expect tomorrow. Awakening can be frightening until one begins to understand it.

“So, how does one begin?” you ask. By listening within for the truth of who you are. Your True Nature communicates to you in many ways. The desire to know. The desire to achieve. The desire to be more powerful in your own life. The desire to love more deeply, more universally, and understand the nature of love. Finding peace in a life where peace is challenged and not easily obtained. The universal questions, “Who am I? What am I? Why am I here? What is there to know?” and “Are there others that I have known and will know again and what was our relationship?” The relationship between your physical body, your thoughts, your emotions, your dreams.

As has been said before, the root fear of all fears is the thought and feeling of being alone, on your own and unaware. The time for sleeping, for more and more people, is drawing to an end, no longer satisfied with unanswered questions. A greater freedom is in the offing, our brother, freedom in every way. The people of your country cherish freedom but do not fully understand it, or how to achieve it and make it a way of life.

True freedom, true power, true peace, and a deepening love of life are some of the gifts of awakening. Not to leave the incarnate life, but to fulfill it. These potentials, and many more, are inherent in your True Nature. Claiming them is a way of life. You need only desire it and allow it to blossom within you. The understanding will come as the awakening continues and the Truth of Life is being revealed. Namaste.

JANU: We are summoning an attunement at this time to address grievances of many as to their fate in life, and circumstances, and unhappiness. When observing the prayers of the masses, one cannot help but see, among the beautiful moments, much strife. Please to understand that the circumstances of human society are self-created and can change. Let’s proceed along these lines, not with the theme of ‘damage control’ but of change.

The consciousness of individuals and groups can range from anger, frustration, and hate of living to optimism, confidence, commitment, and determination to know and enjoy the blessings of life. You ask, “How does one make this change when seemingly consumed with difficulties?” One moment of feeling powerful over the life you lead can begin the change. Reach within on one point, one challenge, and choose to see solution, if only the beginning. Then apply it without doubt or hesitation. The change comes and you begin to know you are a co-creator at one with the power of life itself. This includes everything in your life, our brother, finances, health, love, and change.

This is the path, or a path, to peace of mind, a body in peace with the life that you live, resting comfortably with each moment. This is why disease is so named, a lack of ease. Unresolved challenges with no hope of solution is a recipe for dis-ease. Life gives you options, from one end of the scale to the other. Where you perch, so to speak, is up to you.

Make choices to change. Settle for no less. Instead of waiting for change, be the catalyst for it. Be the co-creator you were designed to be. Choose with growing wisdom what you create. Namaste.
