The nature of existence

JANU:  Relative motion can be interpreted without units of measure because, in the Larger Life, awareness includes the relative reality of another expression of life. These relationships reveal not only yours but the other as well, for they are connected in other ways than measuring devices. One can know the presence, relative position, and motions of another whether visible or not. All of creation has this property and the conditions of each can be experienced and understood.

You ask what terminology to use in describing these properties of existence without units of measure. These properties are not recorded with pencil and paper, so to speak, but in life patterns of energetic reality of many different properties. So, to determine that something does or does not exist or has this or that relationship or reality simply by observation of the five senses or any devices is limited and gives the illusion of real or unreal.

So, what we point to in this discourse is the reality that there is much more to the natures of existence whether the five senses detect them or not. This perspective has merit in other explorations of reality as well, and are worthy of exploration. Namaste.

Be whole in the moment & grow

JANU:    Configuration is the theme. And Life is configured, but even the configuration evolves. To understand Life in its many forms, many expressions, one becomes more and more familiar with these nuances, their relationships, their potential, and their tendencies. Human behavior is part of this. Nature is part of this. Energies are part of this. All consciousnesses are part of this. It has been called the Tapestry of Life, but it is a tapestry that is changing and includes all possibilities.

How does one navigate through this maze, these complexities, these changing relationships and maintain integrity, focus, and destiny? One makes allowances for realities. One is alert, perceptive, and conscious.

Life is vast and growing. Observation of the path of worlds, space if you will, universe, physical and energetic, its seeming immensity is still just part of the Larger Life. So, why concern oneself, then, with these realities? As one becomes more conscious of where they are at, their moment of life, the rest of Life is involved. Life is enriched by engagement and everything matters. Personality ego seems like a grain of sand in comparison. Far reaching implications from that grain of sand.

On your journeys through life, leaving one part of life in your attention to explore another is an illusion, a product of binary mind. But the larger mind, the larger consciousness of your nature explores all of Life, with many foci. Emulation of this is the thrust for human consciousness. Be at peace with what works, what thrives. Embracing a new discovery does not mean rejection of what has been. It’s all Life. Be whole in the moment and grow from there. Namaste.

Reality

JANU:     Exploring is the theme for today, though the subject is reality. When everything that is only exists within the parameters of its existence, are the parameters real? What does reality mean? How can it be described or defined? Can words accomplish this? Are words real? Not in every reality. Even in physical life, their meaning can be ambiguous, and only have meaning that’s ascribed to them. So, what is real and what is not? Is a thought real, and in what sense? Thoughts come and go, and change on a dime, so to speak. Is life for real? And what does that mean? If life records itself, and nothing is lost, then what is retrieved or saved?

Reality exists in the moment and expresses from moment to moment, but even that moment passes into memory and life’s own recording, called ‘life patterns.’ So, how does one become conscious in the moment, so that past and future exist as one? Let us take the chime of a bell. In time it sustains its tone, briefly, but its pattern is recorded in its substance, in that which vibrates with it. But whether rung or not, is it still a bell? Whether an individual is conscious or not, what is still real?  Does ‘eternity’ have any meaning, any reality of the moment in the so-called Now?

Taking all of this into consideration, where is the merit, the nature, the essence? Even the question suggests presence, position, location, time. Parameters of the limited existence, the limitation of words. Is ‘pure being’ part of this or does it somehow find itself a part of unlimited reality? What then is without limit, parameters of existence, boundaries, unique description? What then has value, meaning, and purpose?

The Truth of Life, the so-called Light. What is true and what is not? Or does reality include them both? Deciding to know is the challenge and opportunity for revelation. Namaste.

What is spirit?

JANU: You ask, “What is spirit?” A term almost best left to the use of the incarnate consciousness, disconnected, in a sense, from the larger reality of life, for even the physical life, you see, is unseen to the five senses. Explored to some degree with physical technology but also explored by those with awakened consciousnesses—clairvoyance and the like.

Now, the True Nature might be categorized in this way but its consciousness embraces so much more. We use the term ‘life’ as a general label to include many realities, but even that is a limitation, for it suggests the possibilities: “What is life and what isn’t?” “What is real and what isn’t?” “What is true and what is false?” Even dichotomies are perceptions posed by parts of life.

You ask, “What is consciousness?” It is awareness by that which is capable of such. Then asking, “Are there any limits to consciousness?” and “What is the nature of unconsciousness? Does it have reality as well?” and “What is the source of consciousness? What is the nature of its existence?” “Is Life itself conscious, or only by virtue of its progeny, its creations?”

Many assumptions are made for the mind to continue to explore. Can a creation react to its creator and, if so, how fully? This is exploring life. Does an answer exist, even potentially, for any inquiry? What is the mind, the consciousness, of an explorer? Do inquiries ever achieve these? Namaste.

The True Nature and the Larger Life

JANU:   Organization as such has an interesting relationship with the Larger Life where everything co-exists with its own potential and destiny. The conscious physical mind has a tendency towards structure, priorities, empirical data, order, sequence. But there is more to reality than that, meaning that limiting your perceptions and experiences to that framework is limited.

What of more unlimited reality? How does one relate to that, find meaning, sensibility, and productive experience? One does so by being conscious, in conscious harmony with the Nature of their being that exists in this way. The larger individual reality is not limited to time/space but co-exists with it, allowing for expansion of experience and consciousness to the incarnate awareness. When exercised, perception of light, being, and presence becomes more fluid, more co-existent, more interactive, more layers of relationship. Even time and distance no longer limit, for life is larger than these but includes them.

So awakening, you see, is in addition to current incarnate consciousness, not taking the place of it but adding to it. So, the human consciousness co-mingles with the Larger Life, giving more depth and perspective to incarnate existence. Realize, then, that consciousness beyond incarnate life, before and after, is not so limited but is, in fact, who you are. Awakening has always been available to the incarnate experience, but has not always been known of as reality, as present, as coexisting with the human experience.

Life is vast, diverse, evolving, powerful, coexistent, relateable. The limited incarnate experience need not remain limited. That was a choice agreed to by your own being when incarnating. A temporary experience. The incarnate journey is full of wonder and discovery. The Larger Life journey is so much more and brings adventure to the incarnate life.

Your journey into awakening is wisely directed by your True Nature. What has your interest cared for more fully than the rest of who you are? From that conscious connection and reality, explore the rest of life, including the physical one. Namaste.

More on the concept of deity

JANU:    Deity, then, what is the scope and depth of this reality, longed for by so many? Self-created examples, what is it in the nature of each one that is so longed for? Desire is for the revelation of truth, the experiencing of truth, no matter the inquiry or reality. Even the sense of returning home, that safe place where all is well and safe and secure from distortion and misrepresentation. Attempts at this behind the veil include conflicting motivations, cross purposes, learned distortions, social consciousness.

The struggle for enlightenment is not easy without a role model. And where does one find this? Desperately searching through observation of others, looking for a hint at this, when the reality of this is one’s own True Nature. No one can bring you to this point, to this role model for your existence but your own desire and attention, your own integrity.

Love the truth into your life, the truth that, in reality, is still evolving, expanding, refining. Allow the Truth of Life, some call ‘the Light,’ to bring you peace and well-being. A life filled with satisfying discovery and experience and intimacy with who you are. Others sense and respond to this kind of integrity, these qualities of being, for they long for these as well. Be at peace, and namaste.

The power of a question and an open mind

JANU:    We are assembling then those questions acting as keys to unlock understanding and experience. Let us begin with the nature of individual existence progressing to the larger issues of reality.

  • First, the personal questions, the main interest of most: Who am I? Why am I here?
  • What is real?
  • What is the future?
  • What is destiny?
  • What is love?
  • What is life?
  • Are we alone?
  • What exists beyond the physical life?

These questions are only a beginning. Every journey has one. Each one chooses their beginning, for evolution has no end.

Questions are like magic. If you have a question, you can also have an answer. One of many, even for the same question, you see. Life and reality is like this, for it is evolving, ever changing, growing. This does not invalidate the answer to any question, but fulfills it, like a plant that is growing, from a seed thought.

So let us begin with the power of a question and an open mind. Namaste.

Reality and discernment

JANU: Reality is in the perception of the beholder. What is real and what isn’t for any individual or group? Perceptions of reality are based on so many elements of experience and impressions. And what inspires perceptions of reality to evolve into larger truths? Moments of inspiration, open-minded consideration of possibilities, a moment of Light shining briefly into the conscious mind by way of the True Nature, which also draws upon the Larger Life.

Perception of reality calls upon individual faculties of discernment, a knowingness from within. The reality one perceives outside of themselves is in their world of the five senses. They are part of that world and their reality is limited to it, as long as only the five senses are involved. Each individual has within them a larger Nature with access to larger realities, the nature of their existence. This does not diminish in any way the merit and practicality of the physical world, for it is coexisting with the Larger Life. The opportunity is to be conscious of more and more of what is. The relationships take on more depth, layers of meaning and expression. And one slowly experiences the reality of association with others.

Choosing, committing to the integrity of one’s own True Nature, as one proceeds to discover and embrace the Larger Life, brings focus to, integrity to the experiences to come. Namaste.

Adventures in freedom

JANU:    Coming together, then, belongs to the genera of life that gives ‘marching orders’ so to speak, thresholds of understanding, guidance on their reality. Looking for answers to some of your questions outside of yourself only yields clues. What does a clue represent? What is its nature? It is an outpicturing of a larger reality. The clues are triggers, but once the projection has been made, the focus established, leave it behind in favor of direct experience and knowing.

The clues are manifestations of the power of creation, a journey in consciousness with steps and thresholds and changes. Life is full of wonders and the joy of discovery and the freedom of knowing. An endless adventure of life filled with many others that are evolving. Conscious union with your own True Nature is the path to freedom, life without limits. Welcome.

Can life be defined?

JANU:   The scope of consciousness is limited only by the scope of perception or identity. Does life itself have limits? Yes and no. Limits within its expressions, but not its potential. For how does one define life, in its fullest reality? Certainly not by dimensions, for there is life beyond these. Even ‘freedom to be’ suggests choices and identities, but life is beyond identity. What does ‘me’ mean?

There are reasons for limitations, no matter the reality, and for perceptions of identity, but there is life larger than these. Being ‘conscious of’ and being ‘conscious as’ is a spectrum of life, but not being limited by either of these does not negate their usefulness and their reality.

How does one ponder an expression of life and not be contained by it? What is life? Namaste.
