JANU: Welcome, our brother, to the journey of a lifetime: the awakening to your True Nature and all that that includes. Some would call it an altered state of consciousness. More inclusive than altered, for even the human consciousness, the human journey, is included.

As one awakens, one includes more and more of the Truth of Life in their awareness. And not only their awareness, but their engagement. This truth has two faces, if you will: the inclusive nature of your own consciousness and the inclusion of you in the larger life. For there is a collective consciousness of everything some call ‘oneness.’ Speaking with one voice, living with one consciousness, being one with everything and every no-thing, brings a perspective to your relationship with life and life’s relationship with you that has no secrets but the wonder of realization of potential. What some would call the ugly side of life, of human behavior, is measured by and exists within the beauty and wonder of it all. This is the perspective of the awakening consciousness and the nature of the life that continues on.

Challenges are part of the mix. Open your heart and your mind to the rewards of these. Be confident always in the substance and nature of the flow of life. Engage and embrace everything in this way. Namaste.

JANU: The focus this morning is finding peace with your sojourn. Taking the larger view of the most intimate details brings perspective and value to everything you’ve experienced, the performance of a lifetime. Identifying with the larger you allows this to happen. The merit in this, our brother, is the ownership of a life’s experience but not being owned by any part of it, in the sense of restricted to that moment of identity. Leaving you free, even while incarnate, to learn the truth of your existence, your being, bringing sensitivity and depth of perception of the lives of others as well. Formalities of the body, the emotions, and the mentality are enhanced, allowing for a better connection with who you are in the midst of the layers of living.

Find peace with all you’ve been and done. Owning your life instead of being owned by it is the difference, our brother. See it as heritage with meaning, experience with wisdom, contribution with love. Fullness mixed with patience, time mixed with timelessness, existence with the truth of beingness. Finding peace and acceptance with your life is the Light you seek. Namaste.

JANU: Rambunctious does not describe this current approach to journeying, but methodical and careful consideration do. So, as we nibble away, so to speak, at accomplishments, let us be even-minded and lighthearted, organized yet flexible, and spontaneous. Always ‘at peace’ and open. Each faculty supports the others, as does each journey. As in composing music and in a symphony, so many elements involved. Not only the consciousnesses, the physical dexterities, the development of instruments, the decisions on composition, the many coordinations, relationships of notes and sounds, the music, but the inspirations brought to those who listen and participate, the lifting of consciousness, the many layers of energy imparted and impressed. This is awakening, our brother, fine-tuning.

Everything is for a reason, whether understood yet or not, and draws on the experience of so many. Puzzle pieces are unique yet they fit together with others and are part of a larger picture. Each one is needed, as are the experiences of the journeyer. Thank you, our brother, and namaste.

JANU:    What we see first here is a more spontaneous response to living situations, not only in your understanding, your awareness, but your relationship with others and their needs. Humanity in general is constantly seeking enlightenment. Life is very confusing in many situations. Many play a game of society, posturing image for impression with others to fit in and for advantage, yet secretly longing for pure understanding to the nature of life, their own existence, and wisdom. Very confused as to what love is and simple happiness seems illusive. Representing a more natural way of existence through constant attunement or awareness as to the nature of life can be an inspiration for those looking for understanding or answers to their questions. Not from you, but from within their own True Natures, Life itself. And that is what this is about, in part, our brother. A natural existence of understanding and awareness, a knowingness within your being untapped so to speak, always. No sense of aloneness and being lost in the sea of life.

This connection we speak of that you inquire about is not abnormal. It is uncommon. But more people tap into this from time to time in their lives than they realize. You can inspire them to be better at it, so to speak, for it to be more reliable and available. Every insight need not be recorded but taken within to your foundation of understanding.

We see developments here, not only in understanding but utilization of faculties in the application of energies and consciousness, promoting healing, peace of mind, a strong sense of inner strength and confidence, a natural happiness and sense of humor, recognizing absurdities and enjoying play. Much to explore and accomplish and, yes, master.

The veil, our brother, was never intended to be permanent or eternal. Only a tool to help one focus on the incarnate life, only for as long as needed. More and more are nearing the end of that journey, to find guidance within to carry them further. All of these and more: faculties, facilities, and gifts of life to be explored. Understanding and experiencing a direct connection with the rest of life is a grand journey, for life is rich and has much to offer itself in the coming together. Many systems in your physical bodies have a harmonious and mutually beneficial relationship. All the parts of life have this as well.

Becoming one in your consciousness, in your experience, is enriching. Developing this way of life while incarnate as well is full of wonder and so-called miracles. Life is magical, our brother. The scope and depth of the journeys cannot be fully foretold. But the promise is real and so is the fulfillment. Namaste.

JANU: The development of the ability to open to full consciousness is on its way. Changes such as these, our brother, are best accomplished in a measured way, and the adjustments to be made while maintaining a central core of sanity and balance. We would have you see this with patience, commitment, confidence, and faith in the Truth of Life, the truth of your own nature.

What you are achieving has been achieved by others and longed for by many others, in one way or another. One does not awaken alone,   although it seems so at times. You are part of the Family of Life and are supported and welcomed. We are not here to disrupt a tradition but to be in harmony with it. As you have said, “Steady on,” our brother. Namaste.

JANU: We are reaching, symbolically, into ‘our bag of tricks,’ seeming magical and illusive to most. But they are not, our brother.

Opening the bag and reaching in, one finds a peaceful consciousness that seems unlimited. A growing understanding of the nature and elements of many planes of existence. The power of the understanding of truth that is in motion. The power of perfect understanding, the perfect moment or juncture in someone’s life. A so-called ‘sweet spot’ in consciousness that triggers the revelation of so much. The magic of inspiration, illumination, and a balance in the presence of everything. And open-mindedness, with discernment and growing depth of perception. And vitality.

The goal here is not to bypass life and its challenges or opportunities, but to own them, the master of the journey. So you see, our brother, not tricks at all but the miracles of life. Namaste.

JANU:    What we discuss and observe here this morning has to do with the bending of the so-called rules we have allowed for journeying. We are moving beyond this, our brother, into a region or realm of life more universal, more inclusive, more cosmic in scale. The so-called protocols you refer to for engagement are left behind. There is no protocol to be, for the beingness we engage is not limited by these. Life is, our brother. The so-called protocols exist to structure creation, manifestation, wisdom-gaining, and continuation. ‘Being’ is not described by these, or defined. This is true freedom, that was always the core reality of all of the journeys of life and, yes, the understandings.

The peace we speak of is not a protocol, but a constant reality and the nature of being. A life of any creation, our brother, is the essential reality of beingness. Being at peace is ‘being.’ Being at peace is one with everything. Your human consciousness is part of this. Your True Nature is this. Thank you and namaste.

This is a question received from an individual, responded to by Janu and the Brotherhood of Light, and presented here to provide a more personal connection to these journeys. The response given is directed to that particular individual, and is presented for research purposes only.

Q:   I come to the point of choosing to know who I truly am and what my function is here now.

JANU: We have this one who seeks to truly know. This seeking on her part comes at a time in her sojourn when there is need for much inner support, clarification, and strength in the grasp of her true identity or being. This one we speak of this morning embraces no denial in the sense of sweeping changes in her life. However, there is some pattern of reluctance to embrace the power of it, the magnitude of it, the sweeping changes that take place in perception and perspective and the rules or models we have chosen to engage life by.

We would ensure you, dear one, that to make this transition, if you will, into a larger view, is one that is difficult for many for there is the clutching onto the familiarity of old perceptions even though restricting and limiting the engagement of that you seek. You surround yourself with familiar symbols and articles of your family’s past, your upbringing, your previous home environments. They come to you as cultural identity for the purpose of a sense of strength of heritage, connection, and continuation. There are nuances of influence in your perception of life and the changes you seek in understanding and identification that limit you in this comfortable setting of familiarity. Are you prepared to embrace larger understanding and reality and allow these symbols to take their place in memory in the history of your experience? Examine these symbols and see if they represent this larger understanding you seek in any way that you can perceive.

We build in these sojourns such patterns of ritual ongoingness that we seem to feel that this is our identity and to let go of it is to deny all you have built, leaving you with nothing. Let us suggest that you entertain for a moment who has been doing the building and the collecting and the careful arrangements of these symbols of traditional ongoingness. It is possible to broaden your connection with that limited, though comfortable, identity and grow to a degree. There is opportunity there but it will not satisfy the hunger for quickening and awakening that lives within you and leaves its impression in the vicinity of your heart energies, you see. There are qualities you have gained in family, in support of others, and in ongoingness of love and caring for others that can survive limiting identity with old ways. You move forward, dear one, not these symbols. We understand the difficulty of embracing this perspective. But the clarity of perception of the opportunities for the larger life in this sojourn is not easily grasped when the vision is so filled with old ways, old patterns for experience.

As to who you truly are, dear one, this is what we have been alluding to. You are the daughter of a noble in the vicinity of a galactic empire of the Noweda System. You were steeped in many traditions there as well, those arising from the trappings of authority, influence and the kind of power that permeates that societal reality, you see. You are used to privileged existence and, on a traditional level of experience, expect this to be. Your departure from this series of experiences, eventually arriving in your present sojourn, was to free you from needing these trappings, free you from perceiving the full range of life from only one point of view. The traditions you have accepted for yourself in this life, and the symbols you accumulate around you, are a shadow of this prior expectancy. This is your opportunity and soul’s calling, if you will, to finally let go and emerge in a larger way of understanding and freedom to embrace the rest of life. The difficulty you find in this challenge at this time is not only from your current sojourn patterns, dear one, but from the long tradition of expectancy of privileged connection, long before.

The transition we encourage and envision for you to consider is the privileged reality of freedom to be one with all life and the privileges of the past were no freedom at all, dear one, in this larger sense. They are illusion and this is your opportunity to see illusion for what it is. It is a temporary creation for experience. The experiencer whom we address, whom you are, is not identified by the experience. Your true being is not a privileged member of an order of society or grouping of consciousnesses. Your true identity is absolute free being, larger than all of these. The choice is simple, dear one. Own it all or be owned by a part of it. This is your choice and your opportunity to breathe freely once more.

There is more than enough love in the heart of your being to survive this challenge and there are those, such as this source speaking at this moment, who join you in loving support on your adventure and celebrate in advance your freedom. No creation and no journey is greater than or more powerful or as permanent as the true being you wish to know once more. Experience these many things in your life, but need none of them. Allow this simple statement to find its way to the truth of your knowingness. It is the key for you to unlock any experience, any sojourn, any challenge. There is so much richness and love and peace and understanding and connection with the limitless beauty of life that awaits your embrace.

It is our passion, dear one, that you know the truth and find freedom through it. And you are part of the richness we have described, the beauty of life, and as we know the beauty of life so we know your beauty as well. Continue your journey, dear one. The reward is beyond description. We wish you the peace and joy of it. Namaste.

Q:        What is the very next “money making” or career move in my life?

JANU: Career moves, dear one, serve on many levels. The level, of course, is best suited to your particular level of interest for your life and for your range of desired experiences. The money making aspect, as you describe it, is certainly one level, but not the only one possible, should you allow your desires and your vision for your future and your growth to expand somewhat.

Financial reward has its challenges and its lessons. Envision, for a moment, what benefit you gain by this pursuit, this singular focus. Is your goal merely the possession of money or is there a level of happiness anticipated? Is there a level of service through this prosperity envisioned? Is there true sense of well-being achieved through this single desire? Does your love for yourself and others and life become fulfilled or improved, dear one? Does the money service these broader relationships with life? If your eyes and your heart are set on the financial reward primarily, these other opportunities for engagement in life must tag along behind at a distance commensurate with your appreciation of them, you see. No guarantees, then, that this single focus for reward will bring any of this. Many have chosen this path and amassed great amounts of what you describe, with little or no connection to these other rewards for living, and found themselves wanting for something else, discovering a hollow victory for their efforts.

This does not suggest the pursuit for financial prosperity is right or wrong, but it can contain or not those things of lasting worth as you choose. Look past this statement of desire in terms of “then what?” now that you have this money making career. Money making careers are not that difficult to achieve. They require little of you, in terms of character and depth. The richer and deeper rewards we speak of require everything that you are. You are capable of all of these. The patterns and opportunities for success in your request as stated are all around you. Take your pick. The forms of career matter little for the gaining of financial reward, if that is the only goal. This source would never suggest one form over another. It is your right and your opportunity to choose your course and gain the benefits of the wisdom of the path you choose.

An interesting perspective might be one that suggests that all financial or paper money reward can gain is what others are willing to give you for it and do they have all that you desire for this paper money, you see? For if your only desire is money and financial gain, your benefits are limited to its purchasing power. Some envision personal freedom through great wealth. One might well examine what is true freedom and can another truly give that to you. Are you free, then, if your freedom depends on another’s willingness to give you freedom for your money? Do not they, then, possess or control your realization of freedom?

This is an excellent question, dear one, for examination and exploration of possibilities and results of choices. Career as you describe might be examined on more than one level. The level suggested being one of careers as described or understood in the world of business. One might well examine the understanding of career in terms of the worth of your life journey in this world, its opportunities for growth, fulfillment and service, for consciousness raising. What is a career, then, dear one? Where do you set your sights for victory? Worthy considerations for wise investment of time and energy and consciousness. Is your career the world of illusion or transcendent reality or a merging of all realities? The fullest satisfaction and fulfillment is through the embrace of the career, if you will, agreed upon by you in the larger life in anticipation of this sojourn. One might do well then to listen to this understanding or design for living in this lifetime and look for opportunities for it to manifest and express and yield the reward that fulfills you beyond what others may have to offer.

We suggest these possibilities and perspectives, dear one, to inspire you to your wisest decisions and greatest success. The choices always are yours and this source would never suggest one choice over another. Know with a certainty and own this, dear one, that you do have a larger understanding and design for your life and it is available. It is your truest desire. And choices made in harmony with this understanding will bring you lasting reward. The natural frustrations felt when seeking understanding that seems illusive keeps the understanding at a distance. Decide to be in peace and confidence that the answers you seek lie within you and are available. But they reside not in frustration but in the peaceful union of the totality of your being. Love who you are and the opportunities of life, that this understanding be revealed to you.

Q:        How can I best help folks who are on their path to healing? Is my best work to do counseling, biofeedback, energy work or something completely different?

JANU:     What best serves, dear one, when serving another in the area of healing, as you have specified, is the truth. The truth at the heart of any modality is the best service. When seen in this way, when motivated in this way, one engages any modality with effectiveness. We could examine this from your point of view as specializing in one modality. But this would be a limited presentation if we did. Our interest is to support and encourage in you the widest of possible “best service” for another.

The modality is not the magic and it is not the power that heals. It is not the power that inspires another into their freedom and understanding. The truth does this, dear one. And what is this truth we speak of? It is the reality of the circumstance of the one in need and the one who serves. The truth is the wisdom behind the modality. It is the consciousness. It is that which connects all life to all life. It is the common thread that can be found in any service or modality.

This presence we speak of is best realized when one holds another in pure love. This reality makes possible harmonious connection with all aspects of each one’s realities. When you observe or consider a modality that might best support the needs of another, or series of modalities, it is best not to see the modality as the source of that needed for that one, but as a vehicle for focusing your truth for another. Counseling is always advisable, for understanding is a powerful tool in the release of limitation and the embrace of freedom.

Be that server who has no preference for any one modality, but who is familiar with and capable in any that may seem appropriate. What you specialize in, dear one, is your conscious and intimate relationship with your truth and, through this, the truth in another. The support you would gain from the rest of life, including others in spirit, is through your truth, through your beingness, through your vital bodies, through your consciousness, not through technologies. For they are not sentient, dear one; they are tools, much as a hammer or some other device.

The greatest response and receptivity in another you would serve is their sense, their connection with this vital truth that lives within you, with your vitality, your compassion and your ability to touch where they live, to understand as they understand and then to bring to them an expanded understanding. In this way, dear one, both grow at the same time.

Learn these modalities very well indeed. But your wisdom of the moment does not lie in these. The spirit moves through you, dear one. You are surrounded by those who may see modalities as the real power in healing. Do not let this confuse you in your clarity of perception. Understand this, dear one, that in time, through the intimacy of awareness of a modality or of a technology, the results and position of these can be duplicated at will in your consciousness and in that of another. These modalities serve your growth in this way.

Do you see the picture here? Not the specializing in one thing or another, but the embracing of it all, centered, rooted, in the truth within you, the truth of your beingness. Where do you think these modalities came from in the first place? They are born of the truth of individuals to carry out in their limited way and understanding a process. So, when you study and become proficient in any modality, what is happening as well is the expansion of your consciousness in this area, shaping it to be capable of that modality independent, if desired, of the outer forms or devices. So these externals serve a purpose.

Move from focusing on one aspect or modality of service or healing into the direction of completeness of understanding, completeness of ability, and completeness of whole service. For the being you would assist is a whole being and is complete. Follow your joy in your choices, for there will you find your genius to comprehend and implement the fullest support of life and the fullest response in another. And if you find joy in one or more modalities, that does not mean you cannot find joy in others, as your interest finds its way there, as well. Be unlimited in your embrace of the truth of your being and the unlimited possibilities for expression. Do not take on one understanding to the exclusion of all others. Your worth, your identity, your acceptance of yourself, your fullest potential is not limited to one understanding.

We encourage you in this way, for this is the way of life, dear one, and the way of mastership, and the way of freedom. Namaste.
