JANU: Let us survey the obstacles to awakening, most of which are self-imposed, for reason. Others are occasions of living the incarnate life: social pressures, the demands; timing of opportunities and challenges; awareness of possibilities; lack of courage, energy, and commitment. All of these can be overcome, for a more awakened state can be achieved in the midst of a challenge by application and desire. As far as self-imposed reasons go, the timing of the True Nature, based on achievements, is sacrosanct. But these reasons are always in your best interest, serving you and life itself, for the human journey has a purpose, as do you.

The challenges and the obstacles, if you would call them that, are part of the journey. They come with the territory, so to speak. They strengthen your wisdom, your resolve, and your capacities to embrace life. We’re not suggesting to prefer obstacles, but the mastership of them. The fundamental question here is: “What do you desire?” In time, more and more, the human you and your True Nature speak with one voice, clarity ensues, confusion gives way to purpose and meaning.

The larger life has challenges as well, our brother, but of a different order. But the isolation of the human experience, due to the veil, in the sense of isolation or separation, make the connection with the larger life seem obscure if non-existence. But ignorance is the theme here. The purpose of these journeys is to lessen this, give you a working premise to awaken to something more, returning to the state of being that has always been who you are.

The obstacles to awakening have never been permanent or fixed. Not remembering your awakened state does not deny its existence. Your human journey is very temporary. Make the most of it, whether conscious or not, but enhance your opportunities as you may through awakening. Namaste.

JANU: This session on awakening speaks of, has to do with the fundamental experience of letting go of the darkness, the ignorance, and the confusion of living. Slowly sensing an increase in alertness, a sense of presence of a larger reality. In time, the sense of the presence of others. A kind of warmth throughout the body. A growing peacefulness and wakefulness.

A growing freedom to choose what your life includes, and what you choose is just right for the moment. Social standards no longer being the authority for your choices, but the truth and the love from the wisdom within you, much older than society, is becoming more and more your reason for your choices. For this rediscovered freedom responds to a greater clarity in your choices.

Physical space/time limitations no longer limit your interests and your explorations of this universe, or any other. You can touch, embrace the whole of it or any part. And that’s just the beginning. The smallest element is as real and present as the largest reality.

Embrace new experiences and realities, new existences, without being compared to current perceptions. New understandings without resemblance to any other. And that all of the laws of science and of life are mutable. That all cycles of life and creation have beginning and end, and the potential for change. And that your True Nature, the life that you truly are, has been and will be ongoing. And that you truly are more than a human being. Allow yourself to experience awakening that is continuous and life fulfilling. Namaste.

JANU: For today’s journey, let us review what is to come. The elements of awakening in this series have to do with a sense of belonging to, being part of, included in the Family of Life. This family is vast and deep, not just in the physical reality with those of similar interest and ability, but in many other realities as well where consciousness exists in harmony with the flow of life. Participating in such a way is not the loss of identity, but the expansion of identity, identifying with more of who and what you are and can be, as well as the essential nature of others and their desire for being part of a larger life.

This pursuit is a course taken for the life that is in you and that you are to grow, expand, and discover. No matter the degree, most everyone wants to understand more, experience more, absorb opportunities, not only enrich their own lives but help enrich the lives of others. Receiving the joys of living and sharing those joys is part of the flow nature of life, you see, the giving and taking. Or should we say: the taking and giving? They are one and the same thing, both sides of the same coin.

The Family of Life does not concern you and your identity. It is more sharing mutual benefit with no loss of integrity. The mystery and the wonder and awe of this is the countless outcomes. What does life turn into? A measure of decision making, choosing this or that, but the outcomes of those choices are still a wonder and a miracle. The Family of Life gives you purpose, a larger identity, and the ability to perceive grand opportunities to even recognize their existence. Enlightened, awakened Family of Life is an experience on the move, renewing, refreshing, and reviewing.

Awakening provides opportunity for incarnate families to grow together in creative ways, with love constantly taking on new meaning. A cooperation of individuality, freedom, but growing together, sharing each other’s strengths, supporting each other’s challenges. Some are fearful of allowing their lives to include others, for the challenges of this are unknown, unpredictable. So build the foundation to proceed on. What are you comfortable with? What is the nature of your relationship with yourself and with others? Be true to that, even if it is evolving as well. As you open to the larger life, allow evolution of consciousness, experience, wisdom, and love. Namaste.

JANU: The awakening of humanity serves life in a significant way. It brings about, or triggers, is a catalyst for changes. Patterns of consciousness, living, and behavior of humanity are soon to run their course. Awakening opens the door of opportunities to many changes. The patterns of existence are in motion. The ones subject to time and space are in play. The ones that are not will be discovered, for awakening opens the human consciousness to the subtler and larger life.

As we have said before, awakening is a diverse reality determined by many nuances in the human psyche and motivations. Embracing change is a scary adventure for some who hang on to the seeming security of the status quo. That security is an illusion, our brother. Awakening sensitizes the consciousness to the changes that always continue, whether noticed or not. So embracing change, being open to it and more, is another key to awakening.

The ladder of life has many rungs; each rung representing conditions. Letting go of one to embrace the next calls for changes in consciousness, founded in commitment, desire, and faith in the miracles of life. Changing your identity from being human to being something more, much more, is a natural change that brings greater freedom, peace of mind, happiness, and a larger capacity and understanding of love. The more you are aware of who you truly are, the easier it is to love yourself and be in awe.

So what in your life are you ready to allow to change? Values? Relationships with other people, with materiality, with lifestyle, and the world you live on? Philosophies, points of view, perceptions, belief systems? And truth itself, or at least your perception of it? Awakening, our brother, changes everything. Change becomes your new security, your new constant. Even truth is evolving, expanding. Adapting to and embracing change is part of this.

Enjoy the journey. Marvel at the seeming miracles that life has in store. Be at peace with life in motion. Namaste.

This is a question received from an individual, responded to by Janu and the Brotherhood of Light. The response given is directed to that particular individual, and is presented for research purposes only.

Q: Please explain the difference between Angels and Masters. Have Angels been human and then Angels again? Have Masters been Angels and then Masters again?

JANU: Masters and Angels, then. What a divine subject to pursue. And in the light of truth may we understand in this way. From your point of view differences, yes. From the larger life the differences come together in one Light and one Love, in harmony with the essential nature of life. The differences exist for different perspectives of service depending upon the plane of expression, you see. These journeys into the lower realities in frequency call for, allow for, the fulfilling of a range of options in service. Each path of service an opportunity of unique character for growth, for expansion of consciousness for fuller realization. For both are life, dear one, and both loved equally of the Father of Life.

One assists the other in the missions for there is synergism, linking, bonding, oneness, common purpose and one knows the other. The mission statements or focuses call for a continuity of involvement that supersedes a random or arbitrary shifting of nature, you see. The perspective of each, in truth, of true reality, true identity, true beingness does not see these differences as distinct as you do, dear one. There are aspects of each that can exhibit and express in Angelic or Master-like manner. The differences you see are the paths of service, not the differences in true nature, for an Angel or a Master is more than their path of service. As a carpenter or an engineer are seen in your world as two distinct realities, in truth they are more alike than they are dissimilar.

You would benefit greatly to love both equally, honor both equally and be grateful to life for both equally. See neither path as one above the other, greater than the other. They are life loving life, serving the expansion of realization and loved equally, for in the perception of commonality, the connectedness, the oneness of life, they are one. Categorize not, judge not one profession of individual fulfilling that profession from another in your world. Think you not the carpenter cannot absorb and learn from the experience and skill of an engineer and vice versa, enhancing as they will their own chosen path of service, in an engineering or a craftsman way? It is the symphony of life. Can a drummer be a flutist and vice versa? To a degree they can. But their commitment to the honoring of their path of service does not accommodate the abandoning of one for the others. And it is not their will to do so for their joy and their happiness is in their chosen service.

The question you pose embraces, is based to some degree on a perception of this or that, of separation, of confining limits of identity and reality. And from those limits the answer to your question is no, dear one. From the larger life all things are possible. The angels you love and hold dear in your heart and are with you always are masters in their own right. Honor them in this way, as do the so-called Masters of your reference. All paths of service and all beings of Light, so fulfilling, are the family of life and are equal in that family and in that knowingness. Honor each with equality as they honor you. See them as one in the Light and in the truth of your understanding. As they see all peoples in the same way.

Namaste our sister. The peace that allows the embrace of the truth and the freedom to be one, be yours. Good day. We are the Brotherhood of Light, all the Light. One with the Family of Life.

Q: Please give any information regarding the energy grid that was seen at the meditation group.

JANU: The nature of grids as inquired of by this one is such that to address one without laying a foundation of understanding of this reality and its many applications and functions would not be the best service here. The grid work performed by and involved with by so many is an order or structure for balancing and managing the forces of creation and the many interplays, stabilizing, enriching, monitoring, balancing and, yes, creating. It is a system of organizing the processes of design and creation and implementation.

This need not be left to higher orders of planetary and systemic scale, you see, dear one. This living reality can be organized and initiated by you as well. These grids you may choose to experiment with can have any properties you choose to invest in them, ranging from color or colors, sounds or frequency, qualities of unconditional love or energy support or monitoring of conditions through the system and a feedback mechanism for disturbances and imbalances to alert you of these and locate and identify. These grids can have a perimeter of any shape you desire. They can be so-called cubical from your three dimensional point of view in their grid structure or other legitimate or functional geometric shapes, you see.

Learn, then, of these different configurations through inner exploration and experimentation as well as the outer examinations of known properties of these patterns. These grids can be programmed for limited duration or specific levels of influence and sensitivity or responsiveness. There is wisdom in understanding the nature of that you would create in these forms for they will play out and perform as you design.

What is a grid, then, but an ordered arrangement of function of consciousness? It obeys properties of design and natural order. It can co-penetrate your being or be at a distance giving a perspective as you choose. It can be used to travel to another locale or reality and be a monitor or conveyor or storehouse, so to speak, of that need and gained from this journey and return for examination and other benefit. Grids can be a composite of the designs of more than one consciousness as a cooperative effort. They can grow and change in shape and inner configuration as needed either automatically or by design of intent of change. They can be multi-dimensional. They even can serve as conveyance for those who understand the principles and have the ability for such focus and concentration and order of thought.

Awakening 7: Passivity

JANU: This morning’s journey is the subject of passivity. By this we mean choosing an openness, being passive to the flow of life, of consciousness, the Truth of Life in the presence of preconceived perceptions, preferences achieved by social conditioning. In the awakening of consciousness, this foundation, this theme opens the consciousness to more unrestricted access to what is, beyond limitation. Now, understand this, our brother: limitation is a fluid thing, adjusting to capabilities of the moment and of potential in embracing more of life, more of the True Nature, more of the oneness with everyone and everything.

Passive does not suggest one without standards, ideals, values. It is one who can consider honestly something new to their experience, to their understanding. Certainly, this is part of awakening. No longer allowing the old understanding to block the new, at least during the moment of initial embrace. Integrity of the True Nature, when honored and cherished, is the measurement of the rightness of any new understanding. Your True Nature, your true integrity, your true being is your guide. And that guide is evolving as well, our brother, for its nature is the source of life.

Cosmic consciousness is a universal embrace of infinity, of unlimited reality. Now, the human consciousness is not used to such things, so awakening is a gradual reality, allowing for assimilation, understanding, processing, maintaining sanity, balance, and rationality. Passivity does not violate these, but allows them to grow and evolve, open to larger truths, larger life.

‘Standing firm in the face of reason’ is a tradition that keeps one limited. So consider carefully the path of awakening in the light of this understanding, and find peace in it. Namaste.

JANU: We are examining, with some for the first time, a sense of identity beyond being human. A valid question being “What is it that’s being human?” Bodies come and go but spirit remains. What does that mean? Your human experience or identity is but a moment in time, but your spirit goes on and on. What do you know of that spirit, its reality, its purpose? What are your human life experiences accumulated? Where is the wisdom that comes from these and how do you draw upon these to benefit each lifetime? Awakening is the answer, our brother, awakening to your True Nature, your spirit, the ‘you’ that continues on, whether in the body or not, the accumulation of many journeys in humanity.

Some might say, “Is it meant for the human consciousness to ever be aware of such things?” The answer is a qualified ‘yes.’ The qualifying being imposed by the reason the veil you have created continues as it is. Your True Nature understands this and is continuously present. At times in your sojourn, you have an inspiration to discover more, to grow, to gain understanding and wisdom, to participate in life more effectively, not just in function but in joy, happiness, and helping others. This is inspired by the truth that lives within you and is so much more than you imagine, and has always been who you are.

Waking up from a dream is a similar experience, except with this awakening you remember more and more. You see more and more clearly, and you understand why. Not only this, our brother, you become aware of so many others you have known, yet learn of so many more that are new to you. The human family has many strengths, as does your larger spiritual family. What you gain in wisdom and understanding through experience isn’t just for you. It adds richness to others who can benefit, for everything gained has many perspectives, all of which are true and explain more of life.

It is one thing to have questions that are insightful and thought provoking. It is quite another to get the answers, which lead to more insightful questioning and grander meaning for living. No life is lived in a vacuum, but the connections with the rest of life can be subtle and vague, depending upon the openness of your consciousness, your mind and your heart, and your desire to live more fully. When your heart goes out to the needs of another, a child or adult, why do you think the response is there? It is life connecting with life, as your True Nature is not only connected with you, but has always been you.

There are nudges here and there throughout your life to awaken, to understand, to connect. You need only allow it for it to occur. It is the natural way of life. There are life situations that seem to demand all of your attention and energy and understanding, making it seem as though ‘what more could you possibly take on?’ What you can take on, our brother, is wisdom, energy, confidence, clarity of mind, clarity of thought and feelings, the power to continue.

Understanding brings freedom. One does not feel free when confused and overwhelmed by the confusion. Choices in your life bring this about. Making wiser choices for better outcomes can be yours. Test this to find any truth that lives within you and apply it to your life. Namaste.

JANU: We are including in this morning’s journey patterns of awakening. There are rhythms in your life that attune you to realities. These are, for the most part, subtle but can be noticed and embraced more fully. There are pulses to life. Witness your heartbeat; attuning to it, you are aware of it all over the body. There are energy pulses to the patterns of life which can be sensed, engaged, attuned to, and replicated. Your own True Nature is a living reality. How else do you become incarnate and find harmony with other patterns of living?

Awakening is such that becoming conscious of its presence is part of engagement and the acceptance of its reality, becoming more and more aware not only of the presence but your true identity. This speaks of oneness. How, on the one hand, from human experience, people are to separate one from another and you have a unique identity, with borders. But oneness is a reality beyond borders and, in a sense, your life touches another, growing in the reality of being connected. How can you be an expression of the one life and not be connected with every part of it?

Recognizing patterns of energy, consciousness, of understandings, and contributions both given and received is ‘awakening,’ our brother. What then does one awaken to, when the process occurs, but all of the elements of life? It takes individuality, uniqueness, the modification of patterns, mutual influence, collaboration and cooperation, timing based upon harmonies created through individual and collective evolution, and creativity for life to continue. Being a conscious contributor to the flow of life and its unfoldment has a pattern that is powerful. Nothing you gain is separate from everything else. Every experience and opportunity is an expression of so many others. Many so-called original thoughts and creations were the product of many others, and they exist in the symphony of life that is being written moment to moment.

What is ‘awakening,’ then, our brother, but being conscious of all of the elements of life giving together, with their own patterns of existence touching each other. Consciousness is a choice to be directed, enhanced, modified if you will, and shared. Being at peace, true peace, with a patient and loving nature prepares you for harmonious relationships and journeys into exploring life. As you can see, awakening has many layers, many realities, and many opportunities. The journey of lifetimes. Whether incarnate or not, life continues. Namaste, our brother.
