Awakening 46: Transitions

JANU:    Having once said that the decline of a civilization is a transition, one opportunity to another, such it is from one incarnation to another, one idea to another, from one philosophy to another, from the veil to awakening. See changes in life as ‘transitions.’ More understanding and acceptable than ‘endings and beginnings,’ for in transition, you see, reality is transformed not eliminated.

So embrace awakening, should you choose this path, as a transition into a larger life that retains everything useful. Some speak of leaving the body as a transition from one life to another. This is true but it is not the end of what you know, what you own. Life is full of transitions, movement, change. This keeps life fresh and new. Awakening is this kind of movement. Your sense of being makes the transition from limitation into freedom. Awakening is not the end of the journey, our brother, but a transition into a larger one.

When you evolve in consciousness to a clearer understanding of anything, that is a transition. Now, transitions, our brother, are processes and need to unfold in due order. Making the adjustment, or allowing it, we should say, is due process for what has been your foundation for understanding and engagement of life is changing. Be at peace with the process. Praise the gentleness of the natural flow of life. Learn from the process. Life is revealed through this. Much to experience, much to learn, much to enjoy, much to love. Thank you, our brother, and namaste.

Awakening 45: What is your role model for living?

JANU: We are peacefully responding to what emerges as a defining moment in the affairs of humanity. When considering the events of the last two days which have gained worldwide attention, meaning the so-called massacre in Orlando, Florida, pivotal in the sense of a composite of human consciousness, one can see there is a complex range of response and reaction playing out collectively. His anger, frustration and hate; fear of dying; pain and suffering; heroism; gratitude for survival; attempts to contain the enormity and depth of emotions and events. The point of view here that serves best is to see this as a collective human experience and what it says about the current state of human consciousness.

The elements of this situation are not unlike the reasons for conduct of war. What will it take, then, for humanity to engage with clarity and understand the reality of what has taken place? Life goes on, whether incarnate or not, but is it evolving? When there are those who see nothing but war for generations, where is their model for alternatives? They know nothing else, much less what they are capable of.

The reason for awakening, our brother, is to achieve a personal model for living and moving beyond these patterns of conflict and mayhem. And what is the source for this model of living but the truth within you. Learn of this. Explore this. Understand this. Make it your own. Awakening to the truth that you are, that lives within you, is the key to move beyond these cycles of violence.

Wars speak of victory, yet if there were victory, our brother, there would be no more wars. For what do they really resolve, other than temporary stays of execution and pain and suffering. The illusion of power traps many into these cycles. The incarnate life is but a moment. The life as the truth within you reveals cannot be taken away. Survival must take on new meaning. Apply this new meaning to your circumstance and your associations and your performance, as you walk through this life with a new champion that lives within you. This is powerful, our brother. Violence is not.

The theme here is “What is your role model for living?” Namaste, our brother.

Awakening 44: What happens to me?

JANU: Peace again, our brother, is part of the path to victory in awakening. One might ask, “When awakening, what becomes of me? Do I still exist?” Yes, our brother, but in a larger way.

Within the human experience, the consciousness can have several identifications: human being, philanthropist, engineer, designer, musician. Many identities but you are still you. When you awaken more fully, the identity expands to include much more. The identity has the capacity to interface with the human journey, but many other realities as well. What happens is that you become something more, our brother, more than you were aware of before, more possibilities. Nothing of the human identity is lost, you see, but understood more clearly. No longer limited to reacting to life experiences, but responding in a more complete way. You are still you, our brother, but you are more.

The me in ‘what happens to me?’ becomes a larger reality. The only thing that diminishes is ignorance. Your love for life and your own being expands, deepens, through understanding. In ignorance, these are only words. In awakening, they speak of a life that is more alive. It is stepping into the sunlight for the first time. Whatever your interests, you become more aware. More is revealed, not just of the life around you but the life within you. A growing freedom and presence. Being ‘born again,’ returning to all you have known. Physical experience is only one of many.

Allow your consciousness to adjust and settle into the experience. Patience is a challenge for many, but it serves you well and allows peacefulness. Functioning in this way while incarnate is a process. Balance is a good monitor of your progress, your pace of awakening. Namaste, our brother.

Awakening 43: True Peace

JANU: We are looking forward again to surmounting the challenge of awakening. But what a challenge it is, our brother, worthy of the effort to regain the freedom it brings. This journey employs more of the faculties of understanding and the power that brings. Being at peace helps restore the connection some might call ‘memory,’ but we call ‘presence of mind’ and ‘being.’

The frustrations humanity has set upon itself through their perceptions of time/space are not conducive to being at peace. The world of “it’s OK or it’s not OK” divides perception away from oneness. The reason so-called terrorism in Orlando, Florida, two days ago is viewed only as OK & not OK, a dichotomy, where in true peace the factors involved are understood that contribute to such events and the results of them. The rigid rules of right and wrong, with few gray areas of understanding, in the presence of awakening are no longer disturbing but understood, part of the life humanity has chosen for itself unawakened.

Very few involved see this event for what it truly is. The differences between people and their philosophies, social identities, hopes, angers, frustrations, passions, all play out and, in a sense, bounce off of each other. Everyone is part of life. Once again, awakening reveals so much and allows for resolution of so-called differences into the flow of life and the evolution of consciousness.

Awakening softens the intensity of different points of view, different understandings and preferences. The more you understand life, the less you rail against it. This is a measure of our suggestion to ‘be at peace.’ In peace, you understand more of all of life, all the elements, so-called differences, and how they combine into the flow of life, a life that is ever changing, evolving, restructuring, exploring, and creating.

Life is continually re-inventing itself, learning, growing, and evolving. Everyone, our brother, is part of this, in their own way, and even those ways are changing. Find peace in awakening and understand more of the life that you are and are part of and each other. Namaste, our brother.

Awakening 42:   Memories

JANU: We are sharing then, this day, a welcome to all who journey on the path of awakening, welcoming home all those who have forgotten their heritage.

A large part of awakening is remembering. How often do people reach for some piece of information they have forgotten but find that, until they let go of it, stop struggling, it eludes them? When they move on past the inquiry, the remembering comes. So it is with awakening, our brother. Reaching for the truth of who you are returns to you as any frustration is left aside. As one gets on with living, the memory comes.

Living in the present, in the moment, with what is at your doorstep, gives purpose and reason for the memory, you see. Real life in the moment is the catalyst for it, that it find expression and enrich your day, your life. Remembering your nature enriches the moment, brings understanding to facilitate wise choices, reduces the need to repeat the cycles of life, and their experiences, over and over. So your life becomes more efficient, more effective, fewer repetitions of opportunity, and easier flow of new ones.

Remembering is the theme here. It is a natural process to remember who you are. One does not demand a memory, you see, but allows it. The energy pattern is entirely different and allows the wisdom of life and your True Nature to hold sway. Choosing to remember more of the truth of your life is allowing with an expectation that that truth exists and is yours. As each memory arrives, gratitude serves well and confidence grows, for the wisdom that comes serves you. Frustration and struggle and a feeling of lack or deprivation limits you.

Allow your consciousness to remember, to recall more of the truth of your being, your many journeys and experiences, service and enrichments, as well as your associations. Choose to remember. Allow it to be. Love it into your life and the gratitude opens the door even farther.

You have had memories in the past, in this lifetime, that came in this way. Remember them as well; they are a connection. You can even remember when you incarnated and the changes that took place and why you chose it. Remember the joy of just being and its true peace. Remember the subtlety of love itself and all its meaning. Remember when time and distance did not limit your travels, your explorations, your perspective. Even remember your first incarnation and what led to it. Memories are a rich resource to deepen your life. Namaste, our brother.

Awakening 41: The ordered reality of awakening

JANU: The impetus, then, to perform ‘awakening’ comes with an order that avoids chaos. The True Nature is intimately aware of this and is your best guide to awakening, for the order involved, of the elements of awakening, has been constructed or arranged by the elements of your current incarnate journey, in consciousness and experience and wisdom, leading to the thresholds involved. So comparing one’s journey of awakening to another is not with merit. Being such a personal reality, a growing sense of the presence of and a knowledge of your True Nature is key. The human identity is a brief experience, with beginning and end. The True Nature, your true identity, has no such limitation. So any newness to this understanding or experience is born of the limits of unawakened human consciousness, identity, and experience.

The sequence of these journeys on this subject is not in order, for everyone has a different structure in the framework of their existence. One need not be concerned with the order of awakening other than allowing it to unfold according to the wisdom of their True Nature. That wisdom includes successful relationship between awakening and the incarnate life. Not one to the exclusion of the other, you see, but a marriage of the two. The True Nature contains that wisdom.

Awaken to what you have always been, richer than you were before, and richer still to come. There is, in fact, order to life, even in the midst of what looks like randomness and chaos. The larger view contains the order. The smaller view only parts of it. But the order is always present, even in the smallest things. Awakening is the key. The potential of discovery and creativity is so vast that the human mind, unawakened, has difficulty embracing the scope of it, and the order of it. But a rewarding direction to awaken in, our brother, for as one embraces the order of life, the understanding comes as well. So a life of order, in the true sense, is a vast life and unlimited. Awaken into your truth and enjoy a wondrous journey. Namaste.

Awakening 40: The miracle and potential of incarnation

JANU: Journeying today as one brings about a demarcation from the separation experience, due to the veil, and human identity. Let us bring about a reformation in the experience that restores a larger consciousness. Varying perspectives on awakening are centered on the central theme of return. For some it is as if you are visiting the place of your childhood and the memories and, in some cases, associations. Not unlimited experience compared to your current identity, but a fuller one. Not in the sense of childhood but in the reality of greater freedom, profound understanding, and unlimited life. No longer the human experience of aging, being fragile and vulnerable and uncertain perpetuated by society.

Some are concerned that this awakening means leaving incarnation, for how can one embrace the current incarnate life in the presence of such freedom? The incarnate life, our brother, was never designed to be what humanity has made of it, but something grander, with amazing potential for unlimited expression and experience. A joy in living and the wonder of it. A partnership with the larger reality of being. Only in ignorance does one assume that only the awakened consciousness and its reality is beautiful and wondrous.

The theme here is the return to connection of all life, not separating incarnate life, physical life, in any way. Just another plane of expression of a larger reality. See then, through awakening eyes and perception, the human experience grander than currently realized. The potential and magnificence of incarnate life was designed to be an expression of the larger life of freedom, the miracle of being. Not in opposition but part of the larger truth and an expression of it. Focus, then, our brother, on incarnate life being filled with the potential, the wonder, and miracles that are envisioned only for a more spiritual existence, see them combined into one truth with countless aspects and attributes.

The real human journey here, our brother, is an element of the flow of life. The Truth of Life, the Light if you will, is everywhere.

Awakening 39: True Power

JANU: For this morning’s journey, let us agree to the reason for awakening, a purpose from the human perspective. And that is part of what can be called ‘true power,’ which has nothing to do with self-aggrandizement, attention, manipulation of others, or anything of that nature. What it has to do with, our brother, is being a conscious part of the power of life itself, requiring nothing from that it serves, and allows all life to be. The joy in it is the realization that all of life is enhanced, facilitated, respected and honored, and benefited. When you are in the flow of True Power, one requires in no way any attention or credit personally. True Power is a service reality, a giving reality, a contribution. The reward is that life is served and continues and blossoms and expands.

Being one with life means that your consciousness, your expansion, your vitality, everything that you are is enhanced through the oneness of life. No longer do you compare the power of one to another, one circumstance to another. There is one True Power, without beginning or end, that requires nothing of you. Allow your consciousness to expand in this way. The human consciousness can evolve into this and evolve is the word here, the reality.

Awakening is powerful indeed, the power of freedom, the power of connection, the power to be vitally at one with the flow of life. No longer concerned with how you appear to others, but the loving flow of life for others. False power is self-destructive, in the sense that it isolates from what we speak of, for its nature is taking not giving. The flow of life is only giving, and receiving. This is balanced reality. The flow of life is always such. Allow your awakening to have a theme of balance, giving and receiving, that enriches life.

Loving oneself in the true sense is not selfish but self-fulfilling, for it enables and ennobles, inspiring others into their freedom. True power, our brother, a theme for living and awakening. Namaste.

Awakening 38:   Becoming more aware

JANU: We are welcoming this day the coming of attuning to the larger you and the larger life. Consciousness is to be aware of. What we reach for here is awareness. What is that magical transition from unaware to aware? It is opening your consciousness to possibilities, to what is and, through that, to what will be.

Deep within each one there is life, a reality that is connected, that is part of, that is the rest of your consciousness and your being. That is the magical moment of awakening: being aware of the life and the source of who and what you think you are. No need to imagine the reality of this, only to allow it, to bring its presence into your awareness. You are not creating this reality; it already is.

At first, there is a sense that there is something more than what you have known. You can’t describe it or touch it or define it but you know it’s there. With patience, love it into your life. Welcome it and understand that this is a journey home. Quite the opposite of something to fear because it seems unknown. It is a welcoming presence. Rather than it has been separate from your consciousness, you have been separate from the rest of you. Finally, you experience being loved, understood, forgiven, welcome. And, in time, as it unfolds, you understand your human life from that perspective, through those eyes so to speak, through that consciousness.

There is freedom beyond words, freedom to know and touch any part of life and to be touched by it. Your desire to know life, the truth of everything, is set free. Even incarnating, our brother, is a desire and a choice. But engaging realities of life, such as incarnation, physicality, is only one of countless opportunities to touch everything, every truth. And even awakening evolves, for life is ever changing, expanding, deepening, enriched, as are you.

Allow your consciousness to experience this presence in your life. This does not mean the end of your incarnate journey. That is choice as well, you see. And, yes, there are many aware of your awakening, of your awareness, and your presence. This is not only a private journey. That perception is the result of the veil, which is lifting. Allow awareness into your life. Namaste.

Awakening 37: Rebirthing

JANU: We are moving straightaway, then, into the next phase of awakening, described as “rebirthing.”

“What is meant by this?” you ask. Rebirthing is the moving into your true identity, your true consciousness, your true being. A natural and, yes, comfortable transition into something far more established as a part of life. Now, religions refer to something like this as being ‘born again.’ True, but a limited understanding. A reality larger than they understand. Now, the human consciousness does not create this. It already exists. The human consciousness opens to it, lets go of limitation, smaller identity only, endeavoring to make the human identity larger than it can be. It was never intended to be ‘universal consciousness’ on its own, but it can evolve into a growing measure of rebirthing, with expanded values, perceptions and concepts, free of time/space limitations, although they can embrace those as well. Not just understanding peace, but experiencing it, being it.

You ask for indications of a rebirthing experience. They begin by subtler and more expanded awareness of what matters to you. Understanding others in a more liberal way, freer of judgement and limited perception. No longer identifying others by a type of personality, but as beings with amazing potential and life heritages that command respect, that are relatable. Even identity, which is a limitation concept, becomes less important to you. Social status, gender, species are only of the moment. Your interests are no longer isolated but include more and more of life. Your senses are expanded and their reach expands as well. Your worth is no longer based on performance but more on that you exist and are an expression of life itself, eternal in nature, free to enjoy at last every moment of existence because ‘everything is all right.’ Namaste.
